This Gemini weekly horoscope for Oct. 12 to Oct. 18, 2026, centers on a Mercury-ruled sign working through a six-planet retrograde stretch, with one major shift arriving midweek. The Sun sits in Libra and Gemini’s fifth house of romance and creativity, while the Moon travels from Scorpio through Sagittarius, Capricorn and into Aquarius over the course of the week, touching several areas of a Gemini’s chart in quick succession.
The headline event is Pluto stationing direct in Aquarius on Oct. 15 at 10:24 p.m. ET, according to Astronomy Engine planetary position data. For Gemini, Pluto sits in the ninth house of travel, higher learning and beliefs, so the shift from retrograde to direct motion marks a turning point for anything tied to study, long-distance plans or a shift in worldview that has felt stalled since Pluto began its backward track.
The Week At A Glance
- Oct. 12 to Oct. 18: Sun remains in Libra at 22 degrees, activating Gemini’s fifth house of romance and fun
- Oct. 12 to Oct. 18: Moon moves through Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, shifting focus across partnerships, groups and beliefs
- All week: Mercury and retrograde Venus both sit in Scorpio, in Gemini’s sixth house of work and routines
- All week: Mars and Jupiter both sit in Leo, lighting up Gemini’s third house of communication and short trips
- Oct. 15, 10:24 p.m. ET: Pluto stations direct in Aquarius, Gemini’s ninth house of travel and belief
- Ongoing: Saturn and Neptune, both retrograde in Aries, continue working through Gemini’s 11th house of friends and future hopes
Uranus remains retrograde in Gemini’s own sign, sitting in the first house of self and identity. That placement has been part of the sky for a while, and this week it continues to color how Gemini shows up in first impressions and personal decisions while the planet moves backward through degree five.
Love
With the Sun in Libra lighting up the fifth house, romance and creative self-expression get extra attention this week for Gemini. That said, Venus remains retrograde in Scorpio and the sixth house, a placement that keeps affection tied up with daily routines, health habits and how a Gemini shows care through practical acts rather than grand gestures.
The aspect list for the week includes Venus square Mars and Venus square Pluto, both tension points that can make close relationships feel like they require extra patience. Mars sits in Leo in Gemini’s third house, which suggests conversations, not confrontations, are the better outlet for any friction that surfaces around midweek.
Career And Money
Mercury, Gemini’s own ruling planet, sits in Scorpio in the sixth house of daily work and service all week. That combination favors focused, detail-oriented work over big-picture brainstorming, since Scorpio energy tends to dig deep rather than skim the surface.
Jupiter in Leo continues to expand Gemini’s third house of communication, ideas and short trips, a placement that has been building for some time. The Sun sextile Jupiter aspect active this week supports pitching an idea, sending an important email or having a conversation that moves a project forward. Saturn, retrograde in Aries in the 11th house, keeps long-term goals and group projects under a slower, more deliberate timeline.
Wellbeing
With both Mercury and Venus retrograde-adjacent energy running through the sixth house this week (Mercury direct, Venus retrograde), daily health routines deserve attention. Scorpio energy in this house favors small, consistent changes over dramatic overhauls, whether that means adjusting a sleep schedule or revisiting a workout routine that has fallen off.
The Moon’s path through Capricorn and Aquarius later in the week brings a more grounded, then more sociable, mood swing. Gemini can use the Capricorn Moon days for quiet structure and the Aquarius Moon days for reconnecting with friends or community groups tied to the 11th house.
