Season 13 of Diablo IV will expand the game in so many different ways. The campaign will continue in the season 13 update and will serve as the conclusion to the three-part “Hatred” story arc, focusing on the final battle with the Lord of Hatred himself, Mephisto. Mephisto is one of the three Prime Evils and the eldest brother of Diablo and Baal, according to the lore of the Diablo series. He is also Lilith’s father, the main antagonist in Diablo IV, who created Sanctuary, which is now occupied by Mephisto.
This update has been the long-awaited conclusion to the Hatred arc, and season 13 is filled with so much content. First and foremost, the game will revamp character progression by giving major updates to the Skill Tree, increasing the level cap for characters, and giving players new tools and items to help them throughout their journey through Sanctuary. Once the update drops, players will also instantly unlock in-game rewards, such as the High Heavensguard Bundle, the Infernal Apostle Bundle, new cosmetics, etc.
This update will also introduce two new classes: The Paladin, which, if you pre-ordered season 13 already, is available to play now, and the Warlock, which will be released once the new update drops. Pre-purchasing season 13 will also let you unlock other things as well. You’ll gain access to the Diablo IV base game, the Vessel of Hatred expansion, and different trophies you can unlock just by pre-purchasing the new update. But when does season 13 of Diablo IV release?
Release Times
The official release date for season 13 is April 28. This will be one of the biggest updates for Diablo IV, as we will finally be able to face off against Mephisto, and it’ll be a bloody affair. The trailers that have showcased Mephisto and his hellish powers have excited fans because now we’ll get to see the nightmare that we’ve been teased about for years.
Blizzard has been cooking this one up for a while now, so we should expect a long and arduous fight on our hands. I’m so excited to see how season 13 will play out and all the in-game rewards that Blizzard Entertainment is giving away. Only if you pre-purchase, though.
