Helldivers 2 and Dark Horse Bring Real Life Replicas of Helldivers Helmets
Helldivers 2 has teamed up with Dark Horse Direct to release real-life replicas of some of the Helldivers 2 helmets from the game. This news was revealed over the weekend, which was announced and showcased on the Dark Horse Direct website. Here are all the details on the helmet replicas, including prices, pre-orders, and release dates.
Helldivers 2 and Dark Horse Collaboration
Helldivers has teamed up with Dark Horse to release replicas of some of Helldivers 2’s more popular helmet skins. These will be real-life 1:1-scale replicas, meaning they are designed to be exact or near-exact copies of the helmets in the game. According to the Dark Horse website, there will be three different kinds of replicas available: the B-01 Tactical Helmet, the B-01 Tactical Helmet Battle Damage Edition, and the B-22 Model Citizen Helmet.
The B-01 Battle Helmet, as well as the Battle Damage Edition, are the standard edition helmets you wear in the game. They are grey helmets with a yellow stripe down the middle of the helmet, with the Battle Damage Edition full of scatches to give it that worn-out look. The B-22 Model Citizen Helmet is a shiny, all-black helmet that was a part of the Model Citizen armor set that was gifted to all players last year to mark the sequel’s first anniversary.
These helmets are especially special because of the 1:1 size. The size of these helmets means you can wear them; however, it has not yet been confirmed if they are wearable or not. And though the announcement of the release for the replicas was made last weekend, we still have a ways to go until the replicas launch on the Dark Horse Direct website. So, when do the helmets drop? Pre-Orders, Release Date, and Prices
The release date of the replicas hasn’t been announced yet; however, the helmets are available to pre-order now on the Dark Horse website. You only have until April 2, 2026, to place your pre-orders, and the helmets aren’t expected to ship until October 2026, and potentially not until January of next year. Each helmet will sell for $179.99; pretty pricey, but not out of this world, insanely expensive, especially for a collectible item. The news of the release of the 1:1 helmet replicas comes after the announcement of a Helldivers film currently in production. Not much information is known about the film; however, small tidbits of information have been confirmed, like the fact that Jason Momoa is confirmed to star in the film adaptation, and is expected to be released sometime in 2027.
