Weekly Free Games on the Epic Games Store February 26 – March 5, 2026

The Epic Games Store has two free games available this week that definitely deserve our attention. First up, a cyberpunk-style first-person puzzle game for both PC and mobile. Then, a silly horror platformer for PC and Mac. There’s something for everyone in this batch. You don’t want to miss out!

Boxes: Lost Fragments is a gorgeous puzzle game that will keep you intrigued for several hours with its investigation and story. You play as a legendary thief who has taken a job to infiltrate this building, but it isn’t any ordinary building. You’ll find yourself trapped and forced to solve one puzzle box after another to repair machines and move to the next floor.

Having played this game through to the end, I can tell you that every level is visually stunning. During each puzzle, you’ll uncover bits of information that give clues into what is happening, and each little bit is intriguing. I won’t lie, a few puzzles had me stumped for a bit, but solving them all was worth it. The payoff was great.

If you don’t already have this one in your collection, I recommend grabbing it from the Epic Games Store now, even if it’s not your usual genre. Boxes: Lost Fragments is rated E for Everyone and is available for PC and Mobile.

My Night Job

My Night Job is a horror platformer for a single player that sends you into an abandoned mansion to fend off hordes of monsters and save the survivors. You’ll have access to over 60 different weapons, from vases to “ginormous hammers,” to defeat 11 types of monsters. The game is designed to have an old-school 1980s feel and rewards you with bonuses for each achievement gained.

The graphics are cartoony and humorous. And, although it is called horror, it doesn’t look scary in the way that a first-person horror game would be. My Night Job is rated T for Teen and is available for PC and Mac through the Epic Games Store.

How to Claim Freebies From the Epic Games Store

Whether you want to play on your PC, Mac, Android, or iOS device, you can find the download information on the Epic Games Store website. If you’re on a computer, you can download the  Epic Games Launcher to access and play your games. I know that’s not exactly shocking, and you probably figured that out already.

For the mobile games, you’ll need the QR code. Use the camera on your mobile device to scan the QR code, which will direct you to the download page. You will have to enable downloads from other sources. (Other than the native app store, that is.) This app isn’t available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (available for iOS in the EU only). After installing the app, launch it, sign in, and then scroll down to find the current free game.

And that’s what we have for you this week! Check back next week, and we’ll highlight the new game offerings from the Epic Games Store. We’re staying on top of the latest gaming news, so you don’t have to worry about any FOMO.

Happy gaming!
