LoL Esports Week 4 Results Recap: Heavy Hitters Out of Playoff Contention
Week 4 decided the final regular season standings for the vast majority of the LoL Esports regions. The LCK and CBLOL began their post-season last week with the Play-In stage. Nongshim Redforce and KT Rolster will miss out on the Playoffs after losing in the Play-Ins. Los Ratones narrowly missed out on the LEC Versus Playoffs after results did not go their way on the final day.
LoL Esports: LCK Results

Many expected Dplus KIA, Nongshim Redforce, and KT Rolster to advance to the Playoffs. However, the results did not unfold as expected. DK coasted to the Playoffs, while KT and NS lost. NS had two opportunities to advance and failed on both occasions. DN SOOPers and DRX take their place in the LCK Cup Playoffs.

LoL Esports: LPL Results

LGD Gaming became the second LPL team knocked out of First Stand contention. They lost to Oh My God, which sealed themselves in 3rd place in the group. Anyone’s Legends continued their dominant form, as they finished with an 8-2 record. AL won seven consecutive series to finish in first place. Team WE and Njnjas in Pyjamas faced off in a tiebreaker match for seeding in Knight’s Rivals.

LoL Esports: LEC Results
Qualification for the LEC Versus Playoffs went down to the final game. G2 Esports took down Fnatic to earn the final spot. Heading into the day, Los Ratones had odds of over 90% to qualify. However, their loss to Team Vitality meant it was out of their hands. They needed one series to go their way, from the final three, but that was not the case. As a result, they will miss out on the playoffs, and their future is uncertain.

MVK Esports joined Detonation FocusMe in the elimination spot for the LCP. On the other side, Team Secret Whales and Deep Cross Gaming secured top spots. As a result, they have earned a bye to Round 2 of the LCP Playoffs. The other four teams will play an elimination best-of-five series to stay alive in the playoffs.

Three teams entered the CBLOL Play-Ins, but there were only two Playoff spots left. Vivo Keyd Stars and Leviatán qualified. Both teams fell in Round 1 of the Playoffs, resulting in them facing off in the Lower Bracket. LOUD and RED Canids managed to advance to the Upper Bracket Final.

LoL Esports: LCS Results
Shopify Rebellion became the first team to not qualify for the LCS Playoffs. Cloud9 earned the first seed after defeating FlyQuest. Team Sentinels and Disguised joined FLY in the 2-1 bracket. Team Liquid and Dignitas played in a one-game tiebreaker, which TL won. As a result, TL qualified for the Playoffs.
