LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 8: A Pivotal Victory For T1 and HLE
After a humiliating defeat to Gen.G Esports, T1 needed a bounce back. A loss today would see them go 1-3 in the LCK standings. Oner helped T1 to a pivotal victory today. On the other hand, BFX earned their first game win of the LCK regular Season. They could not convert it into a series win and are the only team without a win in the LCK.
DN SOOPers Versus T1

Game One – Oner Lee Sin
Oner carried T1 to victory in game one. The team fights looked like they were winning for DNS until Oner intervened. He had one of the best 1v9 performances of any player in LoL Esports this year. Despite a high kill game, Oner was the only player on the rift that ended with zero deaths. He needed a recovery after a weak display against Gen.G Esports.
Game Two – DNS Is Leading, And It Is Over
DNS built leads in the solo lanes, through solo kills and Pyosik ganks. At the same time, Peyz and Keria are ahead thanks to Oner’s early gank. DNS has a 1k gold lead heading into the third Drake fight. Pyosik and Clozer overextend, and T1 punish. T1 wins one more fight in the mid-lane, and all of a sudden, the game is over.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus FearX

Game One – BFX Unable to Convert
BFX got an early advantage in the laning phase. They were able to punish Kanavi’s overaggression. Zeus almost died solo to Clear. However, once HLE got some momentum they ran away with it. There were a couple of fleeting moments from BFX, but that was it. The First Stand representative has not won a game since they beat Team Secret Whales.
Game Two – HLE’s Turn To Lose a Lead
For the second game in a row, the team with an early gold lead lost. HLE surged ahead, with Zeus being a large portion of the gold lead. He went AD Kennen, which increased his lead. BFX clawed their way back with the better teamfight comp and won their first game of the LCK regular season.BFX unlocked Diable after their return from First Stand.
Game Three – HLE’s Bot Lane Survive
HLE’s bot lane was Raptor’s target in the early game. He tried everything to keep them behind and make Diable the win condition. Despite the attention, the rest of HLE bailed them out. From that point, the snowball kept rolling, and HLE stormed to a series victory. Zeka was pivotal on Ahri.

Owner of the Rift
Canyon kept Oner quiet in the series earlier this week. Today, Oner unleashed on DNS. His Lee Sin was impeccable and was the reason why T1 won game one. He was quieter on Xin Zhao, but still had a significant impact on the game. It demonstrates what happens when he is allowed to take over the rift. T1 will need to find ways to unlock Oner in future series to ensure they have a chance at qualifying for MSI.
A Game Win for BFX
Before today, BFX lost seven games in a row, including their appearances at First Stand. They had seemed a shell of their LCK Cup selves. We got to see glimpses of the old BFX today. Diable stepped up, and Raptor visited the bot lane. However, it was not consistent enough to win the series. HLE were better today, and they are slowly moving up in everyone’s rankings.
