Marvel Studios has announced that a new and final trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released online on Wednesday, featuring Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) As anticipation builds, the trailer is expected to feature Marvel’s first family and a glimpse of the universe they are living in. Since the trailer is brief, it’s safe to assume that we will only see a few seconds of the new sneak peek footage.

Ben then responds, “It’s dinner time.” Based on the clip, the studio seems to be teasing the big brother/little brother dynamic between Johnny and Ben. One user replied, “We’ll be watching the new Fantastic Four trailer.” Additionally, an X user with the username @MCUFilmNews released a promotional video of the RealD 3D teaser for the movie.
The film’s official X account, @FantasticFour, teased the new trailer, “New Trailer Wednesday” with a blue heart emoji. Whether Fantastic Four: First Steps will be a big box office hit remains to be seen after Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* underperformed. The film will be set in a universe where the Avengers do not exist, alongside a futuristic 1960s-like setting. Plus, the film will feature well-known Marvel characters like Galactus and the Silver Surfer, who will be played by Julia Garner.
Ralph Ineson will play Galactus, and Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and John Malkovich will play roles in the movie. We have already learned that the world knows the Fantastic Four well, and they are well-received by the public. The trailers have shown that a key theme of the movie is family. The film teased Galactus and the gender-swapped Silver Surfer’s presence in the movie. The next big bad of the MCU, Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), was notably absent from all the trailers, and his name wasn’t even mentioned. Director Matt Shakman said that Doom wouldn’t make an appearance in Fantastic Four: First Steps. AMC Theatres has recently updated Fantastic Four: First Steps to 115 minutes (1 hour, 55 minutes).
Besides this movie, every single MCU film has been set on “the sacred timeline,” which is the primary Earth-based timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The marketing of the film has leaned heavily into its futuristic setting, giving a look that is so astoundingly different from other films.
