Whether Fantastic Four: First Steps will be a big box office hit remains to be seen after Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* underperformed. Plus, the film will feature well-known Marvel characters like Galactus and the Silver Surfer, who will be played by Julia Garner.
Ralph Ineson will play Galactus, and Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and John Malkovich will play roles in the movie. We have already learned that the world knows the Fantastic Four well, and they are well-received by the public. The trailers have shown that a key theme of the movie is family. The film teased Galactus and the gender-swapped Silver Surfer’s presence in the movie. The next big bad of the MCU, Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), was notably absent from all the trailers, and his name wasn’t even mentioned. Director Matt Shakman said that Doom wouldn’t make an appearance in Fantastic Four: First Steps. AMC Theatres has recently updated Fantastic Four: First Steps to 115 minutes (1 hour, 55 minutes).
