Marlon Wayans Promises Return of Iconic and Hilarious Fan Favorite Film with “White Chicks 2”
Before the reboot and remake era, Marlon Wayans and the Wayans Brothers’ dynasty made parody movies. Wayans has confirmed that “White Chicks 2” and “Don’t Be A Menance 2” are in the works. This summer, after more than 10 years, the next movie in the “Scary Movie” franchise, “Scary Movie 6,” is hitting theaters, and in a recent interview for the film, Wayans dropped the big news.
Wayans Confirms Comedy Comebacks
Earlier this month, on Feb.10, on the show “Rap Attack,” Wayans announced the release date of the first trailer for “Scary Movie 6” (Feb. 27) and the following projects in development.
The next jewel Wayans revealed is the confirmation of the return of two classic movies if “Scary Movie 6” does well at the box office. The “Him” actor comments on the upcoming project,
“Y’all belly will be full and you’ll be waiting wanting more. And so if Scary Movie does well, like we hope it does, then we’ll be back real hard next with “White Chicks 2 ” and “Don’t Be a Menace 2.”
Marlon Wayans Teases Sequels
The recent interview is not the first time Wayans has confirmed that “White Chicks 2” is coming soon. In 2024, for the “White Chicks” 20th anniversary, Wayne celebrated the film and teased the idea of a sequel in an Instagram post.
And again at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, in an interview with “Good Morning America,” the “Little Man” star was asked about the movie “White Chicks.” His response was:
“Every single day, [they asked] ‘When are you doing the sequel?,'” Marlon Wayans said. “They love that movie. You know, I think it’s time. So, you know, let’s get ‘Scary Movie 6’ done, and then we’re gonna go bring out the ‘White Chicks 2.'”
Fans Rally for Sequel
With the latest “America’s Next Top Model” documentary and the cancel culture trend challenging or trying to cancel anything that may seem racially insensitive, and the Wayans brothers’ straightforward, uncut comedy, will “White Chicks 2” survive?
In spite of this, fans are excited and ready for the return of Tiffany and Brittany Wilson. One fan wrote on TikTok, “After Scary Movie 6, we’re gonna get together, and we’re gonna go…shopping!!!”
Another fan on TikTok wrote, “I’ve been waiting my whole life for a sequel 😭😭😭.” On the same post the another user wrote, “AND IT BETTER BE THE SAME 2000s STEREOTYPICAL COMEDY , DONT CUT NO CORNERS !!”
Revisiting a Bold Comedy Classic

The movie “White Chicks” was released in 2004 and follows two FBI partners, played by Shawn and Marlon Wayans, as they go undercover as the Wilson sisters on a weekend in the Hamptons. Kevin Copeland (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus Copeland, the second (Marlon Wayans), are two laughing stocks of the force and hope to redeem themselves by solving the big case.
The controversy surrounding the movie is that the brothers use “white face” to transform into Tiffany and Brittany Wilson, and they poke fun at popular pop culture references at the time. For example, the leading ladies, the Wilson sisters, were inspired by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Another cultural reference is the all-white party at the end of the movie, which is similar to a Puff Daddy all-white party, and right now, many are aware that Diddy is locked up, facing several criminal charges.
Support “Scary Movie 6”
To get the sequel to more movies under the Wayans brothers’ production, support “Scary Movie 6” when the film is released. Reunite with the gang of the original “Scary Movie” cast in the theaters on June 12. Marlon Wayans has already confirmed that Shorty, Brenda, Cindy, Gay Ray, and more will return.
