Jim Carrey married: Star, 64, weds love Min Ah in surprise

Jim Carrey married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, a spokesperson for the actor confirmed to Just Jared on Wednesday, Sept. 30. TMZ, citing sources familiar with the wedding, also reported that the couple recently wed.

Neither outlet reported the exact wedding date or guest list.

Jim Carrey married twice before

This is the third marriage for the “Dumb and Dumber” star, 64. Carrey was married to actress Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, and the two share a daughter, Jane. He married his “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, and they divorced about a year later.

Min Ah is an actress and artist based in Los Angeles, according to Just Jared.

How the couple went public

Carrey and Min Ah made their first public appearance as a couple in February at the César Awards in Paris, where Carrey received an honorary award, InStyle reported. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his “sublime companion” and told her he loved her.

Min Ah attended the ceremony with Carrey’s daughter, Jane, and his grandson, Jackson, per InStyle. The pair had been photographed together in Los Angeles as early as 2022, according to Just Jared and TMZ.
