Dead-End Job Netflix: Deadly K-drama revealed, out Oct. 30
“Dead-End Job,” a Korean mystery-horror series starring Lee Jae-wook, will premiere Oct. 30 on Netflix. The streamer announced the Dead-End Job Netflix date Sept. 30 and released a teaser trailer and poster, according to Netflix.
Dead-End Job Netflix story: a part-time job that can kill
Lee plays Hyeok-jun, a man buried in debt who answers an odd flyer for part-time work. It leads him to the Spider Staffing Agency, which promises pay starting at 50 times the minimum hourly wage. The catch is a single rule: Workers can never talk about what happens on the job.
His first assignment looks like a shift at an ordinary convenience store. Instead, Hyeok-jun learns that any shift could be his last, Netflix said.
In the teaser, the agency’s boss, played by Lee Hee-jun, talks a reluctant Hyeok-jun into signing on and tells him he won’t find a better gig. The poster shows Hyeok-jun battered and bloody inside a wrecked convenience store.
Cast and creative team
Ko Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-jun round out the main Dead-End Job Netflix cast. What’s on Netflix reports that Ko plays Yeon-ju, an investigator digging into the strange events, while Kim plays Hyeok-jun’s younger sister, Ji-yun.
Kim Da-min directs. Kim previously wrote the Netflix series “A Killer Paradox.” Han Jun-hee, the creator behind “D.P.” and “Weak Hero Class 2,” is the series creator and oversees the show’s creative direction.
Dead-End Job Netflix release details
The series runs eight episodes, according to What’s on Netflix. The outlet also reports that the show was previously known as “Perfect Job” and had been slated for Oct. 9 before Netflix pushed it to Oct. 30. Filming started in April 2025 and wrapped that November.
All eight episodes of the Dead-End Job Netflix series arrive Oct. 30, the day before Halloween.
