On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Ellen Pompeo of “Grey’s Anatomy” fame was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 55-year-old actor was accompanied by her husband and children at the ceremony, and fans have been thrilled to see her getting her recognition.

Glamorous guest speakers included “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes and producer Debbie Allen. During the live stream, viewers in the live chat declared that they were “crying” and talked about how well-deserved the recognition is.

Ellen Pompeo has been on “Grey’s Anatomy” for 21 seasons, and the 22nd season has been picked up, so her role as Dr. Meredith Grey will continue. Fans must be thrilled! Pompeo also has her own production company, Calamity Jane, which was formed in 2011. Her company has created television dramas for ABC. Her major film debut was in the movie “Moonlight Mile” with Jake Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, and Susan Sarandon. She has also appeared in the films “Old School” and “Catch Me if You Can,” among others.
