Alright, it’s time for another one of these. As the title states, Drusilla Sickle and Magno Stift have been cast, finally! People are excited as they should be; it’s been a long time since we’ve had a casting announcement. If you’re unfamiliar with the subject, please read my other articles on the topic first. I’ve written plenty. Secondly, here’s a little rundown.
Sunrise on the Reaping is the newest Hunger Games book. The movie is scheduled to release on November 20, 2027. The castings for this movie so far include Haymitch Abernathy, Lenore Dove, Maysilee Donner, Wyatt Callow, Plutarch Heavensbee, President Snow, Magno Stift, Drusilla Sickle, Louella McCoy, Loulou, and more. Now, let’s get started, shall we?
Drusilla Sickle Official Casting
Drusilla Sickle’s official actress is Glenn Close. Does that sound like a real name? Not really, but she’s a real person, so she deserves respect. Now, you know the drill by now: you get the actor or actress, you get the previous franchises they were in, and whatever controversy they have, if any. This article will be no different, cause why should it be? Now, you’ll get to experience Glenn Close’s previous franchises.
Glenn Close’s Previous Franchises
- Fatal Attraction (1987)
- 101 Dalmatians (1996)
- The Deliverance (2024)
- Back in Action (2025)
- Cruella (2022)
And more! Now, it’s time for controversy, because she surprisingly has one. It comes from her role in Deliverance, of all things. It’s a quote, specifically, “I can smell your nappy pussy.” Those were the words from the script she was given, not mine. The reason people are upset about her saying this is that it’s at least somewhat racially charged. If you can find more information on that front, go ahead and do it! Now, let’s get onto Magno Stift, shall we?
Magno Stift Official Casting
Magno Stift’s actor is Billy Porter, which has people excited. And, honestly, can you blame them? Now, let’s move on to the previous movies and any potential controversy.
Billy Porter’s Previous Franchises
- Cinderella (2021)
- Pose (2018-2021)
- Our Son (2023)
- 80 for Brady (2023)
- Anastasia (1997)
Conclusion
And much, much more. Now, his controversy mainly stems from both his comments about Anna Wintour and Harry Styles, as well as this post. The original poster (OP) phrased it better, since she’s a woman of color, and the person writing this article isn’t. So, they wouldn’t have the same experiences necessary to accurately write about the struggles of people of color and black people. Now, that got a little dark, to be completely honest, but you made it to the end of the article! If it left you with any questions, good! Questions are good, so look them up and explore them! Have fun and stay tuned for another article whenever the next casting is released!
