Disney+: Top 3 Productions Coming in November

Deadpool And Wolverine Crashed Comic-Con For Fantastic 4 Cast Disney+

Disney+ aims to make November a month to remember. As the days grow shorter and the evenings cozier, now’s the perfect time to cuddle in front of your TV with a warm blanket and hot beverage. Several titles are scheduled to premiere this month, so there’s no shortage of choice. Whether you crave festive cheer (too soon?), a Marvel blockbuster, or an engaging documentary, there’s something for everyone. Start your binge by checking out the three highlights below.

Deadpool & Wolverine

Following a successful theatrical run, summer blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine is making its way to streaming. The superhero movie directed by Shawn Levy was met with great audience enthusiasm, shattered box office records, and became the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time. The plot follows Deadpool, who is informed that his universe is about to be destroyed and has to team up with an alternate version of Wolverine to prevent that from happening. However, working as a team proves to be a struggle for them both.

Deadpool & Wolverine is equal parts fun and gore, mischievous jokes and bloody action. The intro alone is enough to hook viewers. From there, the movie only gets more unhinged, proving that the wait for another Deadpool film was worth it. The main cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, and Matthew Macfadyen. You can stream Deadpool & Wolverine as part of your Disney+ subscription starting November 12.

An Almost Christmas Story

Directed by David Lowery and produced by multiple Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, An Almost Christmas Story is a holiday short guaranteed to warm your heart. The narrative follows a young owl named Moon who gets stuck in a Christmas tree and travels from the forest all the way to Rockefeller Plaza. Confused by the big city, she befriends a lost girl. Together, they attempt to journey back to their parents, going on the adventure of a lifetime.

As a fun fact, the short is inspired by true events. A tiny owl was found and rescued from the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree back in 2020. After spending a few days in a wildlife rehabilitation facility, the owl was released into the wild. An Almost Christmas Story has a voice cast that features Cary Christopher, Estella Madrigal, Jim Gaffigan, Mamoudou Athie, Natasha Lyonne, and John C. Reilly. The latter performs four tunes in the special, two of them original songs. You can stream the short on Disney+ starting November 15.

Beatles ‘64

A brand-new documentary about The Beatles is dropping on Disney+ this month, giving fans of the legendary band plenty to get hyped about. Even better news is that the documentary was produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi, so you can be assured that the quality will be through the roof. Per the official description, Beatles ‘64 revolves around The Beatles’ first visit to America.

The band arrived in New York on 7 February 1964 and was met with unprecedented hysteria. Thousands of fans welcomed them at the airport, and Beatlemania quickly spread to envelop the entire country. So much so that their debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show became the most-watched television event of its time. Beatles ’64 offers never-before-seen footage of the band and their fans, making it a must-watch for anyone interested in how the band rose to unimaginable fame. The documentary premieres on Disney+ on November 29.

Final Thoughts on Disney+ November Highlights

With these three releases to look forward to, November just got more exciting. Grab your cozy essentials, queue up Disney+, and settle in for an entertaining time. Whether you choose to watch Deadpool & Wolverine, An Almost Christmas Story, or Beatles ‘64, there’s a bit of magic in every selection. Given that Christmas is just around the corner, that’s clearly a plus.
