Deadpool & Wolverine released just over half an hour of footage at various events across the globe. Some spoilers have already made rounds online, and we are almost to the film hitting theatres. The first teaser for the film was released during the Super Bowl with the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Fransisco 49ers. Deadpool & Wolverine is the only MCU film of 2024.
Not too long afterward, the official trailer made its way to the public, showcasing much more of Wolverine in his suit. Shawn Levy is the director for Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
What Does the Deadpool & Wolverine First 35 Minutes Reveal?

In Deadpool & Wolverine, the TVA tells the Merc with the Mouth that when Wolverine died in 2017’s Logan, it marked the beginning of the end for Earth’s 10005 timeline. This reveal confirms that Deadpool and the X-Men are in the same universe.
For those who don’t remember or do not know, the TVA (Time Variance Authority) is the organization responsible for observing and safeguarding the various strands of the multiverse. Through the TVA’s abduction of Wade in Deadpool & Wolverine, the Merc with the Mouth arrives in the MCU.
Since Wolverine died in Logan, the “anchor” of his reality also died, meaning that Deadpool’s universe (Earth-1005) would fade into nothingness. The movie will have characters from 20th Century Fox Marvel films in the MCU. Deadpool is summoned by the TVA’s Paradox, played by Macfadyen. Paradox offers Wade a chance to Earth-616, the official MCU Timeline.
Paradox’s current project is to oversee the end of Deadpool’s timeline, which is withering and dying due to Wolverine’s death in Logan. Although the death of a timeline can take up to 1,000 years, Paradox hopes to speed the process up by developing a time ripper machine to “mercy kill” timelines.

By quickly killing off Deadpool’s original timeline, Paradox hopes to climb up the ranks as a top member of the TVA. An early scene of Deadpool & Wolverine sees Wade use Cable’s time travel watch to travel back to 2018 on the Avengers Campus. He hopes to join the team to become “someone” and to impress his estranged girlfriend Vanessa, played by Baccarin.
However, his request is denied because becoming an Avenger is about public service rather than personal gain. In the present day, Wade gives up his Deadpool persona and becomes a car salesman alongside Rob Delaney’s, Peter. Wade is joined by his cab driver, Dopinder, Blind Al, Yukio, Negonsonic Teenage Warhead, Colossus, and Buck at a surprise birthday party.
Vanessa is also there and reveals she has a new boyfriend named Durmont, who likes hiking. The film shows a giant red subtitle that says, “When introducing drunk Wolverine to the new timeline.” Deadpool says, “Welcome to the MCU; you’re joining at a bit of a low point.” Deadpool & Wolverine reveals that the Fox Universe, designated as Earth-1005, is fading away because it lost its anchor (Wolverine).
An anchor is someone of vital importance to a timeline, and when Wolverine died in Logan, it marked the beginning of the end of the timeline. Deadpool is from that timeline, confirming that Deadpool & Wolverine are part of the same universe.

Deadpool is thrilled to be part of the official MCU timeline and has even accepted a new suit from TVA. However, he is understandably reluctant to allow his loved ones to fade into nothingness. It would mean the death of Vanessa, his one true love, and all his friends.
To prevent his timeline from meeting its demise, Wade comes up with a plan to find a replacement Wolverine to save his timeline. Using stolen TVA timeline technology, Wade searches across the multiverse for a Wolverine. It is revealed that several Wolverine and Deadpool variants appear in the film. Wade first stops at Wolverine’s resting place at the end of Logan.
Deadpool is convinced that Wolverine didn’t die because of his regenerative healing powers. However, he’s proved wrong when he finds rotted flesh and an adamantium skeleton. Still, Wolverine comes in handy as Wade uses his bones and claws to kill pursuing TVA agents.
After finding the utterly wasted Wolverine in a bar and donning the classic yellow and blue suit, Deadpool decides that he is the Wolverine to bring to the TVA.
However, Paradox reveals that this Wolverine is an unworthy replacement for Logan’s Wolverine. Instead, this Wolverine is a failure who has let down his entire world. As a way to cope with sorrow, this Wolverine consumes himself with alcohol. Deadpool also makes some jokes about the perceived quality of the MCU—Deadpool & Wolverine releases in cinemas on July 26 in the US.
