For those who have never watched The Traitors in any format, the concept is fairly simple. A group of players enters a mansion to live together. They complete tasks to earn money for the team. However, a select number of these players have been selected as “traitors”, and they have been tasked to eliminate players each night as a group. These traitors do not get selected until the game has already started, and as such, preparing for the role is much harder.
The remaining players, the “faithful”, must meet together along with the traitors each night after a task. At the round table, players share what they noticed throughout the day as they try to identify and vote off who they believe is a traitor. If they can eliminate all traitors before the end of the game, those remaining split all the money earned. If any traitor stays hidden and makes it to the end, though, they get all the money for themselves.
Celebrity Traitors UK ought to draw plenty of fans in, as many reality shows do with their bingeability. Among the castmates that should make for exciting television are iconic British stars Jonathon Ross, Charlotte Church, Tom Daley, and Paloma Faith. Others are actors, comedians, and there is certainly a fair share of musicians as well. In total, 19 players will take on the murderous challenge of The Traitors, and while there are advantages and disadvantages to each role, we cannot wait to see who will take their chance as a traitor.
