Remember when Jenelle Evans’ boyfriend-manager made some pretty damning allegations during a 911 call just four seconds ago? He has already come forward, saying he lied about the ‘Teen Mom’ star in the call. That’s all good and dandy, but you know you can get in trouble for false reporting, right, Mr. Keen? Of course, who is to say that Evans wrath isn’t scarier than possible legal problems? Now this is a saga we can’t wait to be covered in future seasons of the MTV show.
August Keen Recants
This week, Keen came forward, saying the 911 call was old news. Things change fast when you live with Evans; she never has repeat, problematic behaviors. She’s a whole new woman. He also said that Jenelle never laid hands on him, and she doesn’t take pills. In his statement, he said, “No I was not hit. I have zero tolerance for violence and would not stick around any DV situations,” and ““No she is not on drugs (everyone knows I dislike weed, unless it’s for medicinal purposes) and that’s what I was referring too.”
Yes, because Jenelle Evans hits the reefer for medicinal purposes only. Sure, August. Manager-boyfriend also can’t explain why he mentioned the pills, but he knows Evans doesn’t take them. His concern was to make sure the incident didn’t get anyone in trouble because he loves and respects Jenelle. In complete damage control mode, August Keen also clarified that the children were never around. The walls in a house aren’t that thick, buddy. Children can hear a cat fight in the front yard. They’re used to that living with Jenelle Evans.
Anyone can be a victim of domestic violence, and that is not a reflection of the individual and everything to do with the perpetrator. Keen is hopefully open to receiving the help he may need in the future. Resources for people experiencing domestic violence are available.
Jenelle Evans And The Initial 911 Call
As we previously discussed, August Keen called 911 on the Teen Mom star recently. He alleges several things in the call, but a few things stood out. Particularly the allegation that she was taking pills and was hitting him ‘all night’ prior to the call. His saying Evans smoked weed and drank 8–12 drinks in a night seemed par for the course. Now who knows what the truth was?
Final Thoughts
911 calls tend to speak volumes. They’re not always 100% truthful, but especially when the caller is buzzed on a few drinks, the information relayed is usually at least somewhat honest. Why would August Keen feel the need to lie to the 911 dispatcher? Why would he say Jenelle Evans was hitting him and using pills if she actually hadn’t? It’s hard to understand, but it’s not impossible. Just like someone wanting to date the ‘Teen Mom‘ star in general. Do you think he was honest in the call, or was lying for some reason? Did he realize having his client in jail isn’t business savvy?
