A lot of them have won awards, met historical figures, portrayed those historical figures in films, and numerous other things that most other people never have the opportunity to do. But on the other hand, there are some really basic things that they do not do, and sometimes that is just because they do not need to do them.
For example, a lot of famous individuals don’t drive themselves anywhere. Some of them choose not to since they have employees who do it for them. Also, people like Anya Taylor-Joy have other valid reasons why they do not think they need one. The list of stars who don’t have a driver’s license is a bit surprising.
Anya Taylor-Joy Knows What Car She Will Get
There are some pretty understandable reasons why someone would choose not to drive, or at the very least, not to own a car. For example, paying car insurance can be hard for many reasons. Also, the reason Anya Taylor-Joy has not bought a car yet is a valid one as well.
Apparently, the star has not stayed in the same location long enough to get one. Nevertheless, that does not seem to be the case for at least one of the characters she has played on the big screen. Also, the star claimed that when she decides to buy a car in the future, it will be a Ferrari Dino.
Cardi B Went Hungry Because She Has No License
Just like Anya Taylor-Joy, rapper Cardi B once revealed that she does not have a driver’s license. The star did so by tweeting about it. What she tweeted about is a problem that many others who do not have a driver’s license have likely dealt with as well, which was being hungry because she was unable to drive to get something to eat.
While not having a driver’s license can be a big hindrance, that does not seem to have stopped the star from being a very successful rapper. Being able to drive is a skill most people need to have, but clearly, the lack of it doesn’t mean one can’t live a full life and have a great career.
Ricky Gervais Also Doesn’t Have A License To Drive
Even though actor Ricky Gervais has had a lengthy and successful career in movies and television shows, he is also one of the many stars who does not have a license to drive. However, unlike Anya Taylor-Joy, this celebrity does not appear to have any plans to change that in the near future.
In addition to that, the actor also has absolutely no interest in cars at all. Therefore, he does not appear to feel the need to drive one. Also, he decided not to make an appearance on Top Gear due to this exact reason. The actor prefers to be driven to places by someone else.
Tina Fey Used To Have One
Actress Tina Fey has accomplished quite a lot throughout her life, but she is also a famous person who cannot drive because she does not possess a license to do so. However, when it comes to this topic, she is a bit different than Cardi, Ricky, and Anya.
Unlike them, she did have a driver’s license in the past. However, the star does not think it necessary to have one where she lives. Furthermore, she claimed that she had forgotten how to do it.
Mariah Is Not A Fan Of Driving In Manhattan
Anya Taylor-Joy, Ricky, Tina, and Cardi are not alone in their decisions not to drive. Singer Mariah Carey is also not a person that one is likely to see driving anywhere any time soon. However, that might change at some point in the future since the celebrity has expressed a desire to get back on the road.
She used to have a driver’s license, but once it expired, she did not get it renewed. That happened a long time ago, and while the star might take the test again to obtain another driver’s license, there is one place that she has no desire to drive in. The star does not enjoy driving in Manhattan.
Anya Taylor-Joy, Ricky Gervais, Cardi B, Tina Fey, and Mariah Carey are all very successful people. However, even some of them have fears and concerns when it comes to driving. Also, some of them do not see a need to drive.
