’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Big Ed Lies To Fans Again

big ed

Infamous 90-Day Fiancé star Big Ed has lied to us again. Many loyal and casual fans alike believed that Ed Brown was an engaged man. It seemed like an unusual thing to lie about, although no low is too low for a man like this. Big Ed will be getting his paper clip ring back after another failed engagement. There’s two narratives about what happened: Big Ed’s story and the truth. Let’s get into the messy details below!

Big Ed’s Engagement

Edward Brown announced his engagement on September 16th. Who was the lucky lady? 29-year-old Porscha Raemond. They had met on a fan meet and greet in Florida, and 24 hours later Brown popped the question in a restaurant at Fort Lauderdale. He used a paper clip bent into a circle as a makeshift ring. The whole story was so odd, it was almost believable considering it involved Big Ed.

Failed But Not Forgotten

Spoiler alert: Big Ed is not getting married. Both parties have confirmed the end of their pledge to each other, so this is likely true. What isn’t aligned is their narrative around the situation.

Brown said that love made him do something impulsive. He had nothing bad to say about his former fiancé; he just thought it was too soon and that he needed to be single for a while. Once you hear Raemond’s side of this story, you likely will also see this is less likely. Big Ed’s ego knows no bound.

Ms. Raemond went public on an Instagram post sharing her side. She said she felt that this was for publicity and was in no way a real engagement. She said, given that they had only known each other for 24 hours, she would never even consider it. She said that she would never have genuinely ‘committed to that.’ Referring to people as ‘that’ is rude, Porscha. Raemond also confirmed that the two were in no way a couple at all. Do we believe that Big Ed ‘called it off’ or that Ms. Raemond thought it was all a fun publicity stunt?

Woods has very little to say about the whole debacle. In fact, she had no words. She posted an Instagram post of her rolling her eyes. Liz Woods also posted a wordless ‘conversation’ with her friend Loren Brovarnik. Their faces truly say it all. Brovarnik cannot stand Big Ed after he called her a ‘bottom feeder,’ a ‘chauvinist’ who ‘hates men,’ and accused her of pretending her relationship is ‘perfect.’ We can’t imagine why there would be a tough relationship where she would gloat over his misfortune.

Conclusion

Ed Brown and Porscha Raemond are not getting married after knowing each other for 24 hours. It’s surprising that Big Ed didn’t keep feeding the narrative. Maybe Raemond would not entertain it. The real question is: did Brown manage to get his fiancé filmed on 90 Day Fiancé? We will have to wait and see.
