Lately Disney has not an much luck when it comes to their live action remakes, but this one has knocked it out of the park.

The movie stars Maia Kealoha as Lilo and Chris Sanders returning to voice Stitch. It also stars Sydney Agudong, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen, Courtney B. Vance, Tia Carrere, Amy Hill, and Jason Scott Lee.

At number two of the box office update, we have Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning, which was released May 23rd, 2025, which means it’s been number two for two weeks now. The movie follows Ethan Hunt and his MI crew as they try to save the world from an AI program that’s out to destroy it. This is the last film in the series of MI feature films and has received positive reviews. With all the impressive stunts and action, this final MI film has performed amazingly at the box office for its first couple of weeks.

This movie stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Angela Bassett, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, and more.

3.) Karate Kid: Legends (Budget: $45 Million/Gross & Total Gross: $20,302,016)

At the number three spot of the box office update, Karate Kid: Legends, which was released May 30th, 2025, moved Final Destination: Bloodlines to the number four spot this weekend. This has met mixed reviews but is currently moving up the charts. The movie follows Li Fong, a Kung-Fu prodigy, who moves to New York with his mother. Li struggles to let go of his past as he tries to fit in and make new friends. When one of his new friends needs his help, he enters a karate competition with the help of his great-uncle, Mr. Han, and Daniel LaRusso, the original Karate Kid.

This movie stars, Ben Wang, Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff, with an appears with the late Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi, and William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence from The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai.
