The writer, Gretchen Felker-Martin, said a bunch of negative things celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, that’s a whole thing we won’t be talking about on this article since it’s not really related to what we’re talking about. Regardless, she got fired and the whole series got scrapped. It sucks, it really does, but that’s not what we’re here to discuss, now, let’s get started with the review!

Red Hood #1 Review: A Bold New Chapter in Gotham’s Dark Underworld

Overall, the comic was good, it had a lot of potential. It ends on a cliffhanger and since we won’t be getting another official part anytime soon, time to head to the wonderful world of fanfiction!

In all seriousness, it’s genuinely a good comic, the plot is super interesting, the storylines are super fun to look at, seeing all the different points of view is really nice, Helena is super witty and funny, and while it’s absolutely not worth $40, it is worth a read.

So, how should you read it if you don’t wanna buy a copy or anything like that? Well, there are plenty of websites that give access to all sorts of comic books. Just be careful and practice internet safety, the last thing anyone wants is to have all their data stolen.
