Billie Eilish Huge Sweep: Singer Takes Home Seven Awards At The 2025 AMAs

Apple Music. Billie Eilish

The American Music Awards took place on May 26, where the show was filled with performances and awards. Out of all the nominated artists, one stood out the most, and no, we’re not talking about Taylor Swift. Singer Billie Eilish absolutely dominated the awards ceremony, taking home all of the awards that she was nominated for — a huge feat for an awards show that is completely voted for by fans. Out of all the winners last night, Billie is taking home the most hardware by far.

Billie Eilish Dominates At The AMAs

Going into the awards, Billie was nominated for a total of seven awards, where she went on to completely dominate the entire show as she took home all seven of them. While the show didn’t show that many awards during the broadcast, since there were so many other performances, it was announced afterward that she took them all home.

Billie Eilish took home some of the biggest awards of the night, too. While not in attendance since she’s currently on tour, Billie Eilish took home Artist of the Year, which was shown during the broadcast, along with a pre-recorded video of the singer accepting the award and thanking fans.

On top of Artist of the Year, she also won Album of the Year for Hit Me Hard and Soft, Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, as well as Hit Me Hard and Soft for Favorite Pop Album. Her hit song “Birds of a Feather” also took home the award for Song of the Year as well as Favorite Pop Song.

Other Award Shockers

While Billie Eilish was the biggest award winner of the night, there were so many other awards that weren’t shown during the broadcast. Beyoncé took home two awards for her genre-breaking: one for Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album for Cowboy Carter.

Eminem also won his first American Music Award in 15 years for Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Hip-Hop Album for The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). New fan favorite Gracie Abrams also took home New Artist of the Year.

This year, Rod Stewart was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to him by his children. Janet Jackson also accepted the Icon Award, where she also performed for the first time on television in seven years.

The biggest shocker of the night? Taylor Swift (although not in attendance) didn’t take home any of the awards that she was nominated for; a huge shock for the singer that usually dominates the award shows, especially ones that are fan-voted.

With the American Music Awards now behind us for this year, Billie Eilish can confidently say that she was the biggest winner of the night. With the seven awards she took home last night, Billie now has a whopping total of nine AMAs, only to add more to the collection in the future, we’re sure.
