Atlanta has been a booming city for upcoming businesses for years. With endless entertainment and a rich history, you will have no problem finding fun in such a competitive city. The main question is, can you beat the bomb?
Beat the Bomb
Located just outside Downtown Atlanta, Beat the Bomb is a teamwork-focused game that brings video games to real life. With an escape room-style setup, you and your team race against time to complete mini-games in five rooms. Each room presents a new game with the same goal, complete as many levels in ten minutes to earn more time for the final level.
The final mission is a cooperative video game with a time limit determined by your performance in the earlier levels. If your team fails, the bomb goes off and you all get blasted with paint, but if you manage to escape, you are declared winners and have the option to leave without being sprayed by the paint cannon.
Room 1
The first room eases you into the world of Beat the Bomb with a chaotic puzzle game played across several spread-out screens. Communication can be your best friend or your worst enemy in this room as you will need to read and input information from one screen to any of the other screens in the room. As you pass the levels, the puzzles show less information, such as removing which screen the piece of information goes to. Effectively relaying the information with at least three other people shouting their answers is difficult and can lead to confusion. Getting creative with the strategy is key to completing multiple levels and earning more time.
Room 2

In the second room, you will find yourself in a unique scenario that makes you feel like a diamond thief. With fog and lasers covering the center of the spacious room, you have to stretch and get limber to avoid touching the red beams and losing lives. You can expect to duck, crawl, roll, and jump to pass this active level. Just like in the previous room, as the levels go up, so does the difficulty, and as the laser patterns change, so will your strategy.
Room 3
The third challenge requires the most teamwork and attention to detail. In this game, you will listen to musical notes and have to replay them from your corresponding screen in the correct order, similar to the game Simon. Only a few strategies could be implemented to pass this room, so quick thinking and creativity are necessary to earn time in this room.
Room 4
The fourth room is the last game to earn time for the final round, so depending on your earlier games, it may be the most important room. Unfortunately, the final mini-game is arguably the hardest of them all. On the front wall, shapes will be shown on the large screen that you and your team will memorize. Once the shapes disappear, you will see your bodies displayed on a grid on the screen from a top-down view. When the level begins, the grid boxes fill with different shapes of various colors, and it is your job to get moving and stand in the boxes with the correct shape and color combination.

The final room is the most intense of them all. After exiting room four, you are offered shots (for those 21+) and instructed to put your face coverings and shoe coverings on. Once your team is ready, you will be brought into the bomb room where the bomb operator will hand you controllers and play the instruction video for you.
The final level is a video game controlled by squeezing a turkey baster-like controller. Each controller is responsible for moving a part of the tank, but you need to know which baster controls which part. You and your group must work quickly to determine what each controller does and move to destroy your targets. If you can blow up all ten targets, you win! If you fail- SPLAT! You get plastered in paint!
