Of course, this is a quick overview, and doing actual natal charts and horoscopes is much more complicated. But now you have a basic idea of what astrology is.
What Signs Make the Worst Friends

These are all extremely caring, loyal, and protective, and would for sure make wonderful friends. So who do you want to avoid? Well, there could be several things that could determine this, including your own sign. For example, Cancer and Aries should probably avoid each other due to Cancer’s sensitivity and Aries’s straightforward attitude. This combination is ripe for hurt feelings and frustration. So let’s take a look at which signs generally make the worst friends for most. While Aries won for sure, the rest of these are in no particular order.
Aries (Mar 21-Apr 19)
Aries, a natural-born leader, is fearless and driven. Extremely ambitious, they do tend to get tunnel vision and this can make them seem selfish and even untrustworthy as they are working for themselves and seem to care for no one else. Also, being quite impulsive, they are hard to keep up with and often change plans, which makes them unreliable as well. They are most compatible with Leo and Sagittarius so if you fall under one of these signs, go for it!
Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan19)
Ambitious and disciplined, Capricorns can seem cold and disengaged. As they are focused on their own goals, they can be very unreliable as they often forget what they are doing for others as they are wrapped up in themselves. They can be extremely critical and with their very narrow focus, feel unapproachable. They have been described as arrogant, stuck-up, and even mean. They are best matched with Virgo and Pisces.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22)
Virgo, the perfectionist of the Zodiac Signs, is described as critical and uptight. They love to be the center of attention and can take the stage often taking the much-deserved attention from others. While Virgos can be very caring, they struggle to show their feelings with emotion and tend to show their feelings through feedback, which comes off as criticism. They, if they feel they have been wronged in some way, can also become quite vengeful which means you might need to watch your back. Best friends for Virgo? Scorpio and Capricorn.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20)
Flakey. Changing with the wind. That is how Gemini is often described. It’s truly difficult to make plans with a Gemini as, with their duality, they are constantly changing their minds and often forget they had other plans. They avoid any situation that makes them feel uncomfortable so you can’t know how they really feel unless they are just avoiding you all altogether. On the flip side, they can also be quite accusatory to anyone if they are in a bad mood. They are not known for taking responsibility for their actions. Libra and Aries tend to get along best with Gemini.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22)
While known for balance and fairness, Libra is not known for being trustworthy. In their desire to hear all sides of a situation, the balance thing, it can be difficult to know how the Libra truly feels. They are good at telling you what other people think, taking those opinions on as their own. Why? Libras are extremely indecisive and they struggle to commit to an idea, or anything really. On the bright side, they do take responsibility for themselves and are extremely anti-flakey. If you’re one of the flaky signs, you’ll want to go the other way. Libra’s best matches are Gemini, Leo, and would you believe, other Libras.
Wrapping it Up
As I noted above, there are always exceptions to the rule. There are always possible matches for any sign depending on the personality traits of each sign. I also believe that life also adds aspects to our personalities that help us manage our way through our world. All Scorpios are not always so outwardly intense if they have learned that this doesn’t always work for them. A Gemini might have learned to be less flighty if this trait has not served them well over the years.
