The Aquarius weekly horoscope for Oct. 19 to Oct. 25 arrives with a career house crowded with activity, as Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio just days after Venus, also retrograde, lingers there too. For Aquarius, that means the professional spotlight gets intense before it gets complicated, and the week asks water bearers to finish what they started at work before Mercury turns things backward.
The Moon moves through Pisces, Aries and Taurus this week, touching your money house before stirring your communication zone. Pluto continues its slow transit through Aquarius itself, sitting in your first house of identity and first impressions, a placement that keeps reshaping how you show up to the world.
The Week At A Glance
- Oct. 19-22: Moon moves through Pisces into Aries, lighting up money matters then communication
- Oct. 23, 5:38 a.m. ET: Sun enters Scorpio, shifting focus to your 10th house of career and reputation
- Oct. 24, 3:11 a.m. ET: Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio, in your career house
- Oct. 25, 4:56 a.m. ET: Venus enters Libra, easing out of your career zone
Mercury’s retrograde station on Saturday is the headline event of the week for every sign, and Aquarius feels it directly in career and public-facing matters, according to the planetary positions tracked by timeanddate.com.
Love
Jupiter and Mars both sit in Leo this week, activating your seventh house of partnerships and one-on-one relationships. That combination tends to bring bigger energy to close bonds, whether that shows up as a generous gesture from a partner or a louder disagreement that needs airing out.
Venus remains retrograde in Scorpio for most of the week before shifting into Libra early Sunday, Oct. 25. Because Venus has been retrograde, old relationship patterns or unresolved feelings about a partnership may resurface before that shift brings relief. Single Aquarius natives might find the Moon’s path through Pisces and Aries early in the week stirs reflection about what they truly value in a connection, tied to the second house themes of self-worth.
Career And Money
This is the week’s biggest story for Aquarius. Mercury has been moving through Scorpio, your 10th house of career, reputation and public life, and stations retrograde there on Oct. 24 at 3:11 a.m. ET. Retrograde periods in a career house often coincide with revisiting old projects, renegotiating terms or double-checking communication with supervisors and clients before signing off.
Venus, also retrograde, has been moving through that same career sector before finally crossing into Libra on Oct. 25 at 4:56 a.m. ET. Until that shift, financial or professional negotiations may move slower than expected. The Moon passing through Taurus late in the week can bring a grounding, practical mood to money decisions, making it a reasonable time to review budgets rather than launch new ventures.
Wellbeing
With Saturn and Neptune both retrograde in Aries, sitting in your third house of communication, siblings and short trips, mental clarity around everyday exchanges may take extra effort this week. Misunderstandings with neighbors, siblings or in quick messages are worth slowing down for rather than rushing past.
Pluto’s continued presence in Aquarius itself, in your first house of identity, keeps pointing toward deeper questions of self-reinvention. Pairing quiet reflection with physical movement, even a short walk, can help process the heavier undertones of a week dominated by retrograde planets.
Best Day Of The Week
Wednesday, Oct. 21, stands out as the week’s steadiest day, falling before the Sun’s shift into Scorpio and Mercury’s retrograde station bring more complexity to career matters. The Moon’s placement in Aries that day energizes communication, giving Aquarius a window to tie up loose ends or have an important conversation before the retrograde period begins.
Readers can check how these same transits are landing for other signs in the Scorpio horoscope or the Leo horoscope, both of which share the Mercury and Venus retrograde backdrop this week. For a look at how Aquarius closed out the prior day, see the Aquarius horoscope for Oct. 18.
