Looks like Ubisoft finally decided to throw us a bone and announce when we can actually get our hands on Anno 117 Pax Romana. And honestly? It’s about time! After months of teasing us with gorgeous Roman screenshots and vague “coming soon” promises, they’ve locked in November 13, 2025, as the official release date.

Now, before you roll your eyes and mutter “typical Ubisoft delays incoming,” let’s talk about what we’re actually getting here. This historical strategy game isn’t just another city builder with a Roman skin slapped on it – oh no, this is looking like the real deal.

What Makes Anno 117 Pax Romana Worth The Wait?

The folks at Ubisoft Mainz aren’t messing around with this one. They’re promising we can build entire provinces with “unmatched detail, flexibility, and scale.” Translation? You’ll be able to watch kids chase dogs through your carefully planned streets while thousands cheer in your massive arena. Because apparently, that’s what passes for entertainment in 117 AD – and honestly, it sounds pretty great!

And, if you want things spicy? You’re not just some random city planner. Even better! You’re a Roman Governor (wink, wink), which means you get to make the big decisions. Will you honor local Celtic culture or force everyone to adopt Roman traditions? Will you kiss up to the emperor or tell him exactly where he can shove his demands? (Spoiler alert: defying the emperor comes with consequences. Who could’ve seen that coming?)

The Governor’s Edition Brings The Heat

If you’re the type who needs all the bells and whistles, Ubisoft’s got you covered with the Governor’s Edition. They’re promising exclusive physical items and digital content, because nothing says “I’m serious about virtual Roman politics” like overpriced collector’s edition swag.

The game’s hitting PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, so pretty much everyone gets to play emperor. Whether Anno 117 Pax Romana lives up to the hype remains to be seen, but at least now we know exactly when we’ll find out!
