We can see the future, and That’s So Raven star Anneliese van der Pol and her husband Johnno Wilson are expecting their first child together! The couple recently made the big announcement that they’re expecting, and will be welcoming their first baby — a girl — in late October.
Anneliese van der Pol Makes Big Announcement
The former Disney star and her husband, who actually played her ex-husband on the 2017 spinoff of That’s So Raven, Raven’s Home, are expecting their first child together. The two tied the knot in December 2024.
According to PEOPLE, Anneliese van der Pol and her husband will be welcoming a baby girl in late October. She said, “Of course, you just want a healthy child, and a boy would’ve been exciting too, but there’s something about a girl in this time that I’m just so proud of. I don’t want her to be a performer or care if she’s a doctor…but she WILL be a feminist.”
Anneliese van der Pol and her husband found out they were having a girl when Johnno hit a golf ball that exploded with pink powder.
It wasn’t easy getting to this point; both Anneliese van der Pol and Johnno are 40 years old, so they had to make some big decisions when it came to starting a family.
Her Pregnancy Journey
Anneliese van der Pol met her husband when they were both 34. It wasn’t until recently that the two made the decision that they wanted to have a baby together. As a result, they consulted with a fertility doctor.
She said, “Literally the day before we were meant to meet our IVF [in vitro fertilization] doctor, I realized I was late. So I took a test, saw two lines, and canceled our appointment. I put the pregnancy stick on Johnno’s pillow and watched him figure it out when he came in to bring me my morning coffee.”
So far, Anneliese van der Pol has been enjoying her pregnancy, and she looks forward to welcoming her little bundle of joy into the world this Fall.
