Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig married Nov. 1 at their farm outside Stockton, New Jersey, People reported. The ceremony came just 43 days after Shue’s ex-wife, Amy Robach, married Fiebig’s ex-husband, T.J. Holmes.
Shue, 59, a former “Melrose Place” actor turned philanthropist, and Fiebig, 49, an immigration attorney, held the low-key ceremony at their 92-acre country estate in front of close family and friends. Shue’s sister, actress Elisabeth Shue, was among the guests, according to the Daily Mail.
Inside the wedding
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Fiebig in a white off-the-shoulder lace gown with a matching shawl and a netted half-veil. Shue skipped the tie and kept it simple in a dark suit. Sabine, Fiebig’s 13-year-old daughter with Holmes, stood beside her mother as a bridesmaid in a floor-length navy gown.
The wedding came 11 days after Shue went public with the engagement in an Oct. 21 interview with People, though he said he had proposed in the spring. “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending,” Shue told the outlet about finding love with Fiebig. The couple have been dating since 2023.
How the timeline lines up with Robach and Holmes
Robach and Holmes married in a private ceremony in Washington County, Arkansas, on Sept. 19, one day after applying for their marriage license. The news didn’t surface until Oct. 13, when the county clerk registered the license.
Robach was previously married to Shue, and Holmes was previously married to Fiebig. Photos of Robach and Holmes together became public in November 2022, while both were still legally married to their spouses. The fallout ended with both anchors leaving ABC News.
Background on the two couples
The two weddings close out a story that began four years ago, when the Robach-Holmes romance first made headlines. Shue and Fiebig met through that upheaval, became friends and started dating in 2023. Now both couples have walked down the aisle within about six weeks of each other.
