New TV Show Alien Earth Crash Landing on August 2025

Alien Earth xenomorph

Xenomorphs are coming back to streaming, but taking a new form. Alien: Earth will be coming to Disney+, FX, and Hulu as a horror streaming show in August 2025. Alien: Romulus brought the creature back front and center and reconnected fans back to the xenomorphs’ terrifying existence and away from the lore train of its recent predecessors.

Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott are sending a collection of aliens back to Mother Earth in this prequel series, and it is not just xenomorphs that stick the landing. Set in time before the Nostromo’s retrieval mission of Alien, Alien Earth will take place in Prodigy City, an Earth colony that deals with a space cargo ship crash-landing into the city’s center. A squad led by a Synthetic is sent to explore and rescue the crew and cargo of the vessel, but encounters a hostile bundle of dangerous xenopredators. Y’all thought space was bad? Well, Earth will make it look like a kid’s ride.

Status of the Show

The series will peek into the lives of the Earth colonies, expand on the human-conscious androids, and reveal the discovery of different, invasive alien species aside from the Xenomorph. The TV series stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Babou Ceesay, Essie Davis, and many more talented actors and actresses. The first and second episodes are premiering on August 12th, 2025, at 8 PM on streaming platforms Hulu, Disney+, and FX. New episodes will come out every Tuesday at the same time until September 2025.

Captain’s Log (Final Thoughts)

The Alien franchise has transformed over the years since it hatched in 1979, and still holds the throne as the scariest creature feature among the stars. What makes this creature stand out from other sci-fi monsters is that the Xenomorph never invaded our planet at all, and reeked terror on a human-made spacecraft. Humans have always sought after the creature and sent vessels into space to collect the species. Now, the Xenomorph’s taking a classic sci-fi introduction in Alien Earth by crash landing onto Earth, with a few friends in tow. After so many years of experience, I think this old Xeno-dog can learn some new tricks.
