Alex Warren Hits #1

Released on February 7, 2025, “Ordinary” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, displacing Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want” featuring Tate McRae. With its subtly religious lyrics, the song created the illusion that it was a Christian song.  However, the song’s lyrics reflect Warren’s longing to be special in the eyes of a specific person. He also expresses the pain that occurs when that dream does not come true.  Realistically, these are feelings that we all can relate to, as we have all experienced them at least once.

Becoming Warren’s first No. 1 song, the mid-tempo hit also achieved international success.  This included reaching number 1 in several countries in Europe, including the U.K., Canada, and Australia.  The song’s universal themes and personal storytelling resonated with a global audience, contributing to its widespread appeal. The song’s success was additionally driven by its widespread popularity across various platforms, including TikTok, where the song was used in over 570,000 posts.
