How A24 Is Crushing It — And Why Prince Charles Cinema Is Loving Every Second

A24

A24, the US indie film studio, has taken the world by storm with its prolific release of high-quality movies over the past few years.  The recent release of Warfare and the marketing for The Smashing Machine (releasing October 3, 2025) have rocketed A24 to new heights in their already meteoric rise, so much so that they are planning a takeover of London’s Prince Charles Cinema for seven nights with seven hit films.

It’s nothing short of legendary — the studio redefining cult cinema is joining forces with the most iconic cult theater on the planet. The seven-day movie line-up includes:

• Everything Everywhere All At Once – May 9

• Uncut Gems – May 10

• Midsommar (extended edition) – May 11

• Moonlight – May 12

• Lady Bird – May 13

• Past Lives – May 14

• The Lighthouse – May 15

Anyone can attend, and tickets start at £9 for PCC members and £10 for non-members. There will also be a pop-up shop where fans and moviegoers alike will have a chance to snag some of the production company’s branded merchandise, such as apparel, bags, stickers, etc.

Final Thoughts

A24 has accumulated a massive following and is best known for giving its directors full creative control over their projects. This indie studio offers compelling and imaginative variations with every release in a world where most new movies feel like the same corporatized story. Moreover, this is just the beginning of the A24 cinema takeover, as 2025 is projected to be a monumental year for the indie production company.
