Page’s Broadway debut as the Lion in the 1975 hit The Wiz earned him an entry into the spotlight. He further made a name for himself as Old Deuteronomy in Cats. Page was a talented voice actor who voiced several animated movie characters. Many would remember the musical theater actor as the voice of Oogie Boogie.

He voiced the character in the animated movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Page also voiced the character in the Kingdom Hearts video games. RIP ALL of you.”

A fan also took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their pain over the actor’s death. The fan, with username Icarus, had met with Ken Page when he was still alive. The fan confessed that losing a “wonderful and talented” individual who contributed greatly to their and “others’ childhoods” was irreparable. Icarus further shared that they would cherish the time spent with Ken Page earlier this year. They added in the image description that Page was very kind to them and their partner when they met.
