Star Trek: Lower Decks
The animated science fiction TV show was first released on August 6th, 2020, and the fifth season will be released on Paramount+ on October 24th, 2024. Created by Mike McMahan and starring Tony Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noel Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawn Lewis, and Fred Tatasciore. The television series will follow “The lives of the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford, and Tendi have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.”
So far, the first five seasons of Star Trek: Lower Deck have been a massive hit amongst fans, receiving a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.7 out of 10 on IMDb rankings.
NCIS Season 22 Premiere
The first season of NCIS premiered on television on September 23rd, 2003, following a fictional team of Special Agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. 21 years later, NCIS will be releasing their 22nd season on October 14th, 2024, on Paramount+. Over two decades, the police procedural drama has accrued a massive audience and has established a 7.8 out of 10 IMDb rating with 166,000 votes. NCIS creators Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill have been nominated for three Primetime Emmys among 45 total nominations in award ceremonies.
The show will follow “the Major Case Response Team (MCRT) from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) as they get to the bottom of criminal cases connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel.”
