I Spit on Your Grave

“I Spit on Your Grave” is a revenge thriller which got released in 1978. The remake of the film was released in 2010 with the same name. When you hear the name “I Spit On Your Grave”, you already know it’s going to be vicious. The original movie got into a huge controversy because of its extremely violent and long sexual assault scenes. The movie might feel sickening at first after witnessing such a brutal scene for so long but after the first part, the movie starts to get interesting and gives you a satisfying ending.
The film was made without much care, going so far as to include shocking and horrifying scenes. In the movie, we get to see a female protagonist named Jennifer who comes to an isolated place to work on her novel in peace. Little did she know that her charming aura attracted the manager of the gas station near her cottage and two jobless men. One day, those disgusting men got a chance and attacked Jennifer to sexually assault her. She tried to flee but they brutally assaulted her for a long time and then decided to kill her.
Fortunately, the girl survives and from here the movie starts to get interesting and satisfying at the same time. Jennifer decides to take her revenge instead of running away and punish her culprits one by one. She chose violence over everything and killed those men. Two sequels were released of I Spit on Your Grave after the remake.
Wrong Turn
“Wrong Turn” is undoubtedly one of the most nerve-wracking and terrifying films of all time. It is part of a series of 7 films with the same concept but different stories. The movie is full of slashing and violent scenes which are nowhere near realistic. You’ll enjoy every bit of it if you are watching the movie for extreme horror and terrifying atmosphere where people are getting killed viciously. The main concept of the movie is around different deformed and terrible-looking cannibal families who enjoy killing people with dangerous weapons and traps.
In the first part of the film, we get to see a group of people or a family who either lost their path or got trapped in a rural area by these cannibals. After trapping a new group, they haunt them one by one and kill them in very disturbing ways. The victims attack them back but it gets difficult to win against those cannibals as they are very strong and have pre-made traps everywhere.
Saw
If you love psychological thrillers with tons of violence then you are going to love the “Saw” movie series. The first film was released in 2004 and was directed by James Wan. After the enormous success of the film, a total of 10 franchise movies of “Saw” have since been released. The movie has a very spooky and nerve-wracking atmosphere where we get to see the game of life and death. All of the movie franchise revolves around a spooky serial killer named John Kramer who has a very unique point of view on life.
In the movie, John tests people who did wrong in the past but got away with it without getting the right punishment. He put them up in a game where they had to prove their will to live by going through extreme physical pain. We get to see multiple life-threatening traps that the players have to use in order to survive in the game. If anyone gets through the game by sacrificing something physically, John lets them go to live their life making it kind of like an escape game. All of the Saw movies are very disturbing and brutally violent.
