Lady Gaga Delivers a Bold, Unstoppable 2026 Grammys Night Fueled by Fashion, Feathers, and Awards
The mother monster Lady Gaga did not disappoint at the 2026 Grammys. From racking up the awards in the pop categories to her theatrical performances of her hit song “Abracadabra.” But what stood out the most was each of Gaga’s cohesive outfit changes throughout the night; she made a statement with the first dress on the red carpet to her Grammy performance walking-art costume.
Lady Gaga Goes Full Feather Fantasy
The first dress of the night Lady Gaga wore was an all-black custom Matières Fécales. The dress was covered in feathers, giving off a sculpted mermaid silhouette with a dramatic spiked neck collar, with feathers reaching past the “Paparazzi” singers’ ears, and a long train mixed with feathers and another black texture resembling tulle.
The feather theme is consistent with each outfit for the night. And to finish off the look, Gaga wore bleached blonde hair and eyebrows and a black manicure.
Gaga Revives Iconic McQueen Archive
Let’s not forget the outfit the “Bad Romance” singer performed in; before taking the stage, Gaga accepted a Grammy in another feather-themed ensemble. Gaga took to the stage wearing a crimson-feathered, long-sleeve 2009 Alexander McQueen top, a black skirt, and a red lip, complementing the look.
When it was time to take the stage, Lady Gaga amped up her look and placed a black lampshade-shaped headpiece with red spikey attachments, almost like eyelashes, in the same red shade as the top. According to the Mayham artist’s Instagram page, her stage outfit is “archival Alexander McQueen from his Fall/Winter 2009 collection, “The Horn Of Plenty.” Look 36. In memory of and inspired by Lee.”
Lady Gaga’s Legacy of Red Carpet Shock and Style
Gaga is no stranger to turning heads on the red carpet. In 2010, at the VMAs, Gaga wore a dress made entirely out of meat; she even had a matching meat bag and hat. Another iconic look is the 2011 Grammy outfit, well, costume, because she was carried inside a giant egg on the red carpet to promote her song “Born This Way.”
In 2013, Lady Gaga rode a fake white horse down the American Music Awards red carpet, wearing a light purple Versace gown with long golden blonde hair.
Gaga Continues Grammy Reign With New Wins
After the Grammys on Sunday night, Gaga had a total of 14 awards. This year, she won the awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Dance Pop Recording. If you missed the performance of “Abracadabra,” check it out on the Grammy-winning artist’s Instagram page.
