5 New Albums To Check Out On February 6, 2026
Tacos may rule Tuesdays, but Fridays are all about new albums. This week’s new releases include albums from Nick Jonas, J. Cole, KMFDM, and more. So, whether you favor CDs, vinyl, or digital downloads, it is time to start making your shopping list. Here is a look at this week’s new music and five new albums that you definitely need to check out this Friday.
Nick Jonas – Sunday Best [Republic Records]

Nick Jonas drops his fifth solo album today, entitled Sunday Best. Jonas surprised fans with the announcement back in November at a special, intimate brunch with fans in Las Vegas while touring with the Jonas Brothers. He said the new album centered on love and dove into aspects of his personal life, like marriage, fatherhood, and musical growth. The lead single for the new album, “Gut Punch,” was released on New Year’s Day. For those wondering, his brothers, Joe and Kevin, do make a guest appearance on the album, but just on one track, “The Greatest.”
Puscifer – Normal Isn’t [Puscifer Entertainment/BMG]

Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan’s other project, Puscifer, releases its fifth studio album today, entitled Normal Isn’t. The new album blends goth, synth punk, and industrial sounds with the band’s trademark humor and high-low vocals to create an album that truly stands out. Puscifer has already released three singles from the album, “Self Evident,” “Pendulum,” and “ImpetuoUs.”
J. Cole – The Fall-Off [Dreamville/Interscope]

Grammy-winning rapper J. Cole releases his seventh studio album, The Fall-Off, today. Intended to be his final album, The Fall-Off is a double-album that features guest spots from Future, Tems, Erykah Badu, and Burna Boy. The rapper has said that the new album has been 10 years in the making, as he wanted to go out putting out the best album he was capable of making.
Silversun Pickups – Tenterhooks [New Machine]

Album cover courtesy of New Machine.
Tenterhooks is the seventh album by Los Angeles-based alt-rockers Silversun Pickups, and their fourth released on their own label, New Machine. The album is produced by Garbage’s Butch Vig, who has worked with bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, and Green Day. Marketing for the album calls it “emotionally charged and unapologetic,” as well as “impatient, apprehensive, and more aggressive.” The band released their third single from the album, the intensely lush “Long Gone,” back in January.
KMFDM – Enemy [Metropolis Records]

Album cover courtesy of Metropolis Records.
German industrial rockers KMFDM return with their new album Enemy today. The album is the first to have contributions by founder and frontman Sascha Konietzko’s daughter, Annabella Konietzko, who takes over lead vocals on “YÖU.” Forty years in, the band has found renewed intensity and focus with a new album that is scathingly politically-charged and full of diverse styles.
