Checking survivors for symptoms of zombie infection is a key role during your playthrough. There are dozens of symptoms that either tell you a survivor is infected or not, so it’s a good idea to learn all of the symptoms for a more effective workday of checking survivors.

2. Thoroughly Inspect Survivors

While checking survivors, you will also be equipped with many different tools at your disposal to help you identify symptoms, especially if they are not so easy to spot. These tools are super important; however, sometimes, even while you use them, you can miss things if you aren’t careful. Be thorough in your investigation. If you feel like you’ve done enough, do a second check. More often than not, you’ll miss something.

3. Check Quarantine Every Day

When you’re unsure whether a survivor is infected or not, you need to send them to quarantine, which will keep them in a locked room to see if an infection will develop over time. You can only keep 3 people in quarantine at a time, so it is important that if you send survivors there, you must clear and check quarantine. If there happens to be an infected person in quarantine, they will turn and kill other survivors who were locked in with them, so never forget to check quarantine every day.

4. Upgrade Your Base

With every correctly checked survivor, you receive monetary rewards that you’ll use to upgrade your tools and your base. Upgrading your base will let you do a lot more and unlock more parts of the base. Here’s what you can unlock:

  • Security Tower
  • Tents
  • Generator
  • Canteen
  • Clinic
  • Laboratory
  • Quarantine
  • Check Point
  • Defense Center

5. Focus on Upgrading Quarantine

Quarantine is one of the most essential parts of your base. There will be so many instances where you can confuse symptoms for other things, or when you’re just unsure whether a survivor is infected or not. This is where quarantine comes into play, and you can upgrade it to help you hold more survivors if more than three have such confusing symptoms. This will also help you avoid wrongfully sending survivors to liquidation.

6. Make Sure You’re Replenishing Resources Often

As a simulation game, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will have different components that you’ll need to manage to help secure your base. Remember, this is a zombie game, and your base is right in the middle of a zombie outbreak. When you send survivors to the safe zone, you’ll have to make sure that they are taken care of and kept alive while they wait to be extracted, so make sure you’re replenishing resources like food and medical supplies to help keep them alive.

7. Successfully Defend Your Base

One of the most interesting gameplay mechanics in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is when the game turns into a first-person shooter, and you have to defend your base from a horde of zombies running at you to break in. You’ll be controlling a drone with a machine gun to mow down these hordes, so make sure you kill every single zombie coming at you. Failing to defend your base will result in defeat, and you’ll have to start your game over.
