Vegan Appetizers and Charcuterie Alternatives

Hello everybody, today we’ll be looking at appetizers and charcuterie boards for vegan people. This is definitely different than what I usually write, but this is definitely something that’s good to talk about.

If you don’t know what veganism is, they are somebody who don’t eat any animal products or byproducts. They don’t eat things like meat, milk, honey, cheese, stuff like that. If it comes from an animal, they don’t eat it.

Now, let’s talk about actual appetizers and charcuterie boards that will work for most vegans, although you should still ask just incase they don’t like these options or something.

Vegan Recipes For Gatherings

We will be talking about five appetizers for this section that will absolutely work for the favorite vegan in your life, now let’s get started:

  1. Our first appetizer is Avocado Hummus and it’s super simple, super easy to make and it goes with basically anything and everything!
  2. The next appetizer is Stuffed Mushrooms, they’re a classic, they’re delicious, they’re absolutely worth making! It’s super simple to make them and they make a ton of mushrooms, perfect for family gatherings!
  3. The third appetizer for today is Bruschetta, it’s quick, tasty and if you have someone who loves tomatoes in your life, make this for them, vegan or not, they’re absolutely worth making! Especially with Balsamic, it’s so divine!
  4. The fourth recipe for today are Onion Rings! They’re an absolute fan favorite and you can’t go wrong with them, basically ever!
  5. Our final appetizer for today are Zucchini, Tofu and Tomato kebabs! They’re quick, simple and take thirty minutes to make!

Now, we will be talking about Charcuterie boards, they’re the perfect little snack platter and while they’re mainly made with crackers, cheese and meat, there’s always an alternative for everything. If you want some dessert ideas, those are here!

Vegan Charcuterie Board Topping Ideas

We’ll be covering five charcuterie board topping ideas as well since it makes sense to keep things balanced. It also makes sense to keep them as toppings so you can customize everything as you need to!

  1. Vegetables, they’re simple but they can be made super easily for anything and everything. There’s onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, zucchini, they’re the jack of all trades, they can be put into everything.
  2. Rice and grains in general. They’re not exactly the most typical topping but they can work. They go well with most things and they’re perfect with the aforementioned vegetables!
  3. Tofu, it’s versatile, vegan friendly and goes great with things like Miso Soup, that mainly works as an appetizer but you can make it for a charcuterie board, I don’t judge, as long as it tastes good.
  4. The fourth charcuterie topping we’ll be talking about are pretzels. You can make them yourself with this recipe here. They’ll pair super well with the Avocado Hummus I mentioned earlier, they take only thirty minutes to make, they’re so delicious and they’re just as versatile as the Tofu.
  5. The final option is an actual charcuterie board that can be used as a template if you so choose. It can be found here and will work with whatever meals you choose. It will work with the mushrooms, with the tofu, with basically everything I’ve mentioned previously!

That’s all I have for you today, go enjoy your days and have fun making any and all of these recipes for the vegan or meat-intolerant people in your life! You all deserve to have a great rest of your year.
