Daily Devotion Monday Motivation with Total Apex Media | December 29, 2025

Happy Monday. Itโ€™s time for your daily devotion. Soon itโ€™ll be a brand new year, and itโ€™s a good thing weโ€™ve been talking about wisdom. Personified as a woman, Solomon intends you to see wisdom as a personal guide, helping you to avoid evil.

14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

In todayโ€™s daily devotion, make up your mind that you will walk in wisdom and avoid evil.

Enter Not

In life, there are places you shouldnโ€™t enter. Some arenโ€™t suitable for those whoโ€™ve chosen to walk righteously. Recently, in the news, thereโ€™ve been reports of gatherings at places where things went on secretly but then were exposed openly. No one wants to be caught up in something unfavorable. In your daily devotion, make being cautious about the places you enter a priority.

Walking in wisdom means walking cautiously. With wisdom, you ask questions, such as, โ€œWill this place be a positive experience for me? Will the people here make me better? Will I feel better about myself after being in this place?โ€ If the answers are no, wisdom is leading you to avoid that environment.

Into the Path

There is a path that can lead to a certain trajectory for your life. It often appears tempting and enticing. It may be the path those you know are on, or it may be filled with some interesting-looking people. But in life, wisdom teaches you that not everything that looks good, sounds good, or feels good is good. โ€œGoodโ€ is often a mask for the evil thatโ€™s behind it. Evil seems pleasurable for a while. In this daily devotion, resolve to be vigilant about avoiding the path that leads to destruction.ย

Of the Wicked

When you enter into the path of the wicked, you often donโ€™t know itโ€™s evil. It appears friendly, warm, and inviting. You believe itโ€™s a path that will make you happy. And often when you discover itโ€™s not, youโ€™ve been deceived, harmed, and emptied. The Bible warns you to avoid people whoโ€™re angry, divisive, and foolish. In 1 Corinthians 5:11, Paul warns to avoid the โ€œfornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner.โ€ Determine in todayโ€™s daily devotion to avoid those that the Bible warns you to stay away from.

Go Not in the Way

You should intentionally avoid those who are selfish or only consider their own interests. God has good plans for you. He wants you to be blessed, prosperous, and filled with His Spirit. Part of that will mean discerning whoโ€™s a good companion and whoโ€™s not. In your daily devotion, make it a point to keep Godโ€™s plans for you in the forefront.

Of Evil Men

What makes men evil? Those who donโ€™t have a heart for God or crave worldly things are evil by default. Those who rejoice in evil are evildoers. There may not be any obvious signs at first. They may even appear kind and fun-loving. They may be attractive, congenial, and smart, but after theyโ€™ve pulled you into their sphere, their evil tendencies become apparent. In 1 Corinthians 15:33, Paul warns, โ€œBe not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.โ€ In this daily devotion, remember that if youโ€™ve become entangled with evil, itโ€™s never too late to come out. At any time, you can decide to walk away.

Final Word

In todayโ€™s daily devotion, Solomon continues to portray wisdom as a friend and guide. Listen to her when she leads you away from certain paths. Remember that she can never steer you wrong.
