Taylor Swift Makes Holiday Schedule Change for ‘The End of an Era’ Finale
Swifties are getting an early Christmas gift! Disney+ has moved the release of the final two episodes of Taylor Swift’s “The End of an Era.” Originally slated for release on December 26, the docuseries will now be released on December 23, 2025. Announced on December 18, 2025, the change was described by Disney+ as an “early gift to fans around the world”. This also allows viewers to complete the six-part series before the Christmas holiday period.
On December 23, 2025, the two final episodes (episodes 5 and 6) will premiere on Disney+ at 12 a.m. PT. On December 19, 2025, episodes 3 and 4 were released as scheduled.
“The End of an Era” Highlights
The docuseries provides behind-the-scenes access to Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour. This includes emotional moments such as her meeting with families affected by the Southport stabbings. The series also features appearances by Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams, and Florence Welch. The concert film features a total of 45 songs, including special medleys of her biggest hits. These songs performed include “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”
Another highlight is an acoustic set where she performs a special version of “Long Live”. On this emotionally nostalgic tune, Swift changed the lyrics to reflect the end of an era.

It became the first album to have every song from a single release top the Billboard Hot 100. “The Fate of Ophelia” led the chart. It also topped the UK singles chart in the top three positions. This marked the first time Swift held all three spots simultaneously.
