Daily Devotion Monday Motivation with Total Apex Media | December 22, 2025

Itโ€™s Christmas week, and time for your daily devotion. Centuries before Wisdom came down as a baby in a manger, Solomon dispensed wisdom that heโ€™d learned from his father. David taught Solomon that wisdom would adorn his life with grace and glory.

9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

In todayโ€™s daily devotion, thank God for His grace and glory that has been bestowed upon you.

She Shall Give

Wisdom is a giver, not a taker. Calling out to anyone whoโ€™ll listen, she knows that without her, your life will run aground. In Proverbs 1:23, Wisdom says, โ€œTurn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.โ€ Similar to Wisdom pouring out her spirit, Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit would be poured out to believers on the Day of Pentecost. Afterwards, they walked into a brand new life.

In your daily devotion, praise God that, like the Holy Spirit, Wisdom gives you life.

To Your Head

Solomon isn’t speaking of the physical head, but of the seat of understanding, or your mind and intellect. Metaphorically, the head is the source of knowledge and wisdom. God wants you to be filled with wisdom, so that youโ€™ll be skillful in life.

God has always imparted wisdom to man. He gave Moses the Torah, the word of God, and the Word became flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 1:30 says, โ€œBut of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.โ€ Jesus is not only your salvation, but He is your Source of Wisdom.

In your daily devotion, know that Wisdom is accessible to you; itโ€™s up to you to receive it.

An Ornament of Grace

Ornaments are beautifully decorated objects that are made to be admired. Weโ€™re in a season of seeing beautiful Christmas ornaments. Theyโ€™re prominently placed, not hidden. In Matthew 5:14, Jesus says believers are โ€œthe light of the world.โ€ He goes on to say in verse 15 that you donโ€™t take a light and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick so that it lights the whole house.  In this daily devotion, thank God for His grace, or favor, that adorns you, and it shines brightly for all to see.

A Crown of Glory

Crowns signify royalty, dominion, or kings who rule and reign. Solomon and David were both earthly kings who ruled Israel and were in the lineage of Christ. Solomon was the son of David, and Jesus is the Son of David, the title that identifies Him as the Messiah. In Revelation 19:12, John sees Jesus crowned with many crowns.

Crowns are significant, and as a believer, you have been crowned with wisdom and authority. Youโ€™re not a pawn of Satan or a victim of the world, but you rule and reign in Christ Jesus. In Luke 10:19, Jesus says, โ€œBehold, I give unto you power,โ€ which is better translated as authority.

She Shall Deliver to You

Wisdom will not fail to deliver to you. What you invest in Wisdom, you will receive in great measure. Ephesians 3:20 says that God can do โ€œexceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.โ€ In this daily devotion, rejoice that Wisdom doesnโ€™t just equal what you give, but she delivers in abundance.ย

Final Word

In Mondayโ€™s daily devotion, Solomon says that wisdom gives you an ornament of grace and a crown of glory. Let this week be a week of celebration that Wisdom came down to us.
