Watch the Chilling ‘No More Time’ Trailer Where Deadly Disease Terrorizes a Small Town
Just when you thought it was safe to go outside again, another pandemic drops in! Luckily, it’s in a movie, but this one has a particularly nasty twist. The trailer for Dalila Droege’s feature debut, “No More Time,” throws us back into the paranoia of recent years, but with a horrifying spin that feels ripped from a particularly grim headline.
What is No More Time About?

Forget hoarding toilet paper; in this world, a mysterious disease either makes you vanish into thin air or turns you into a “hateful murderer.” The film follows a couple, played by Jennifer Harlow and Mark Reeb, who face disappearing neighbors and homicidal maniacs caused by this illness. They seek refuge in a remote mountain town, hoping to wait out the apocalypse; however, isolation is never the answer.
“No More Time’s” theme revolves around humanity’s desperate attempt to survive a world slowly rotting away. The film taps into that all-too-familiar feeling of societal breakdown, where the lines between friend and foe blur. Trust is a luxury that is scarce in a time when a disease can turn loved ones and friends into murderous survivors. It’s a glimpse into a world with limited humanity from both the infected and the remaining.
The Stars of No More Time

The film boasts an impressive indie cast that’s sure to deliver some powerhouse performances. Jennifer Harlow and Mark Reeb lead the charge as the central couple. They’re joined by Tunde Adebimpe, who you might recognize from the upcoming blockbuster “Twisters”, and David Sullivan of “Primer” fame.
But the real treat for genre fans is the inclusion of horror-adjacent royalty Amy Seimetz (“Alien: Covenant,” “She Dies Tomorrow”) and Jim Beaver, best known as the gruff but lovable Bobby Singer from “Supernatural“. Their presence alone elevates the project, suggesting we’re in for something more than just your standard post-apocalyptic fare. The trailer hints at a raw, gritty aesthetic, thanks to cinematographer Jay Keitel, who previously lensed Seimetz’s equally unnerving “She Dies Tomorrow.”
Release Date for No More Time
No More Time is set to infect Video on Demand starting December 19, courtesy of Vertical. Writer-director Dalila Droege has said she intended for “No More Time” to be a “midnight movie,” a film that leans into its genre roots to provide a sense of catharsis for the audience. She aimed to have fun with the concept while also poking holes in the political divisions that have become so prominent. If there is a midnight screening of this debut horror film, I recommend you grab a ticket!
