Lana Del Rey Boldly Unleashes New Sound With Highly Anticipated 2026 Album Stove

Lana Del Rey is once again prepared to delight fans with her upcoming tenth album, Stove. The album is expected to be released at the end of January 2026. Stove is a transition into country music, which marks a significant departure from her previous pop sound.

The Origin of Stove

In 2021, while doing performances of country covers, Del Rey first announced her interest in country music. She began exploring the genre more seriously in 2023. The album features production from her longtime collaborators, Jack Antonoff and Luke Laird. Laird is known for his stellar work with Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves.

The lead single, “Henry, Come On,” was released on April 11, 2025. It was quickly followed by “Bluebird” on April 18, 2025. In the same month, Del Rey performed “Stars Fell on Alabama,” “57.5”, and “Quiet in the South” at the Stagecoach Festival. She also revealed that “Stars Fell on Alabama” was inspired by her husband, Jeremy Dufrene. She lovingly described him as the most impactful person in her life.

Stove Was Delayed Multiple Times

Stove, initially announced in 2024, was originally under the title Lasso. It was later renamed The Right Person Will Stay, with a planned release date of May 2025. However, Del Rey decided to delay the release and rework the album. The delay was attributed to her decision to add six new songs. The songs were more personal and required additional time to complete. In August 2025, Del Rey confirmed the final title of Stove.

To date, Lana Del Rey has received numerous accolades.
