Miley Cyrus Shares New Song “Dream as One” for New Movie “Avatar: Fire and Ash”
Miley Cyrus may have another hit on her hands. The Franklin, Tennessee native has recently excited fans with the release of her song “Dream as One”. Created for the upcoming film “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, the original song was co-written with Andrew Wyatt, Simon Franglen, and Mark Ronson. Inspired by Cyrus losing her Malibu home to a fire in 2018, the ballad connects deeply with the film’s themes of love, unity, and healing.
“Dream As One”
Released on November 14, 2025, the song will be featured in the film’s end credits. It will also be featured on the Simon Franglen-composed soundtrack, set for release on December 12, 2025. The third installment in James Cameron’s franchise, “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on December 19, 2025. Produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau, “Avatar: Fire and Ash” will be distributed by 20th Century Studios. The film’s talented cast includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Kate Winslet.
The Origin of Miley Cyrus
Cyrus rose to stardom in 2006 as the lead character on Disney’s hit show “Hannah Montana.” Her music career began with the release of her debut album Meet Miley Cyrus (2007). The album reached number one on the Billboard 200. This was followed by the equally popular Breakout (2008), which also topped the charts. The hit single “Party in the U.S.A.,” from her EP The Time of Our Lives (2009), became another best-seller. One of the biggest songs of the year, it became certified 14-times platinum in the US.
Unbeknownst to Cyrus, More Success Was on the Horizon
After converting to a more mature image with 2010’s Can’t Be Tamed, Cyrus achieved even more success with Bangerz (2013). The album became one of her best, with the number-one singles “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball.” 2023 was another successful year for Cyrus, with the release of her album, Endless Summer Vacation. The album featured the international number-one single “Flowers.”
At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, the song won two Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, marking her first Grammy wins in 2024. In addition to her Grammys, Cyrus has received numerous other accolades, including one Brit Award, three MTV Video Music Awards, and five Billboard Music Awards.
