Kim Kardashian Claims the Moon Landing Might Be Fake — “I’ve Done My Research”
Kim Kardashian is in the news again, this time for a beef the socialite and actress has with NASA. In the October 30 episode (S7 E3) of her family’s Hulu reality show “The Kardashians,” the actress proclaimed that she believed the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing was fake. It did not take long for NASA to respond. Here are the details.
Kim Kardashian Caught Up In Conspiracy Theory

On the reality show, Kardashian was talking to her castmate from her new Hulu law drama, “All’s Fair,” Sarah Paulson. She told Paulson that she believed the Apollo 11 lunar mission “didn’t happen.” This is a repeatedly debunked conspiracy theory, but the reality star has apparently bought in hook, line, and sinker.
Kardashian told Paulson that she was going to send her “a million articles.” She then read a quote to Paulson where astronaut Buzz Aldrin, responding to a question about the scariest moment he faced on the mission, said it didn’t happen. Aldrin, of course, was talking about there being a scary moment, but Kardashian took the quote to mean that the mission never happened.
Kim Kardashian Doubles Down

She later doubled down with claims that Aldrin admits all the time that it didn’t happen and that boots in a museum don’t match those in footage of the landing. Kardashian also claimed that you could not see any stars in the Apollo 11 footage where a U.S. flag is planted on the moon, and that the flag should not be moving because there is no gravity. “Go to TikTok. See for yourself,” she exclaims.
All of the conspiracy theories she mentioned have been debunked. The Apollo 11 astronauts left their boots and other items on the moon. The flag had a rod strung through it, giving it rigidity in the windless environment to make it look like it waved. The lack of stars in the footage had to do with brightness and camera shutter speed.
NASA Claps Back At Kim Kardashian
As you can see above, NASA’s acting chief, Sean Duffy, responded to the reality star’s claims. Duffy would later extend an invitation for Kardashian to come to Kennedy Space Center to watch the NASA Artemis launch when the U.S. returns to the moon.
Kim Kardashian’s Quest To Question Buzz Aldrin
Kardashian would later suggest that her sister Khloe should get Aldrin on her podcast, so they could question him about the Apollo 11 mission. So far, there has been no response from Aldrin to all this, and that is probably for the best as far as the Kardashians are concerned. There is footage of him punching a conspiracy theorist for suggesting his mission was faked. No charges were filed against the astronaut as law enforcement ruled that he had been provoked.
