AC/DC Reveal 2026 “Power Up Tour” Schedule — Here’s Where They’re Headed

Australian rockers AC/DC have announced new tour dates for their ongoing “Power Up Tour.” The tour, in support of their most recent album of the same name, added 28 new dates in 2026, starting in February and running through September. Here is a look.

AC/DC’s New “Power Up Tour” Dates

AC/DC released their seventeenth studio album, Power Up, in November of 2020. The album topped the charts in 22 countries, and it gave the band the distinct honor of being the only band to top the Australian charts in five consecutive decades. It received 3 Grammy nominations, three iHeartRadio Music Award nominations (including a win for Rock Album of the Year), a Metal Storm Award in Estonia for Best Hard Rock Album, three Billboard Music Award nominations, two ARIA Music Award nominations in Australia, and an APRA Award in Australia for Most Performed Rock Work. The album’s lead single, “Shot in the Dark,” topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers began touring in support of the album in May of 2024, and they have continued to add legs to the tour since. The Pretty Reckless opened for AC/DC for many of its early shows, and Australian punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers opened for the shows down under. The new 2026 dates were announced earlier this week, with tickets going on sale today.

The first eight dates will all be in South America, but then the rest of the band’s new dates will be in North America. The Pretty Reckless will once again serve as openers for most of these dates. Here is a look at the dates for these two new legs of the “Power Up Tour.”

The Current AC/DC Lineup

AC/DC’s touring lineup has varied somewhat in recent years. The current lineup features long-time frontman Brian Johnson back on lead vocals after dealing with some hearing issues in 2024. (Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose had filled in for some dates in his absence.) Backing Johnson are Angus Young playing lead guitar, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Matt Laug on drums, and Chris Chaney on bass. Drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams are still with the band, but no longer tour.

The Legacy Of AC/DC

After 52 years, AC/DC remains one of the most influential and best-selling rock bands around. The Rock Hall of Famers are still selling out concerts all over the world, and they are still making records that rock fans can’t wait to blast at high volumes. The band has sold over 200 million records worldwide, and their album Back in Black is the fourth-highest-selling album of all time, selling over 27 million copies. Tickets for the earlier European legs of the tour sold out in hours, so don’t be surprised if tickets for these new shows go fast. After 52 years, there are only so many shows left…
