Daily Devotional For Tuesday Thoughts with Total Apex Media | November 11, 2025
It’s Tuesday, and time for your daily devotion. Composed by David, Psalm 34 is a comforting, encouraging psalm that assures us God is our deliverer in crisis. David knew about crises, having faced many of them. After fleeing Saul’s sword, David went to Gath, the land of the Philistines.
Men of Gath recognize him as Saul’s great warrior and bring him before the king. David pretends he’s insane to escape death. The king dismisses him, and he escapes unscathed. His praise for God’s deliverance is captured in verses 1-2:
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
In your daily devotion, praise God, like David, in your times of deliverance.
Bless the Lord

How can we bless God? Doesn’t He bless us? Hebrews 7:7 says, “The less is blessed of the better.” However, the word “bless” means praise. David was a praiser. When he brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem, he praised God by dancing with all his might.
Historically, David’s tabernacle is known as the tabernacle of praise. Today, you’re God’s tabernacle of praise. And just as David, you’re to praise God for deliverance. In today’s daily devotion, rejoice that in any situation you face, you can trust God for deliverance.
At all Times
You’re to praise the Lord at all times. That doesn’t mean you don’t have other things going on. Even when you’re working or in a crowded room, you can praise God inwardly or in your spirit. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Paul says we should give thanks in everything.
Paul didn’t say to praise God for everything. For example, you wouldn’t praise God for getting in a car wreck, but you’d praise Him for delivering you from harm. In this daily devotion, commit to giving God praise at all times.
Praise Continually
David makes a declaration that God’s praise will continually be in his mouth. There are things you must do in life that aren’t spiritual. But nothing is neglected when you live in an attitude of praise. The saying, “Praise wins battles,” means releasing faith when you praise. Faith puts you in a position to receive God’s deliverance.
Keeping praise in your heart leads to joy. Jesus was anointed with the oil of gladness above His brethren. That’s joy. He wasn’t always in joyful situations, but His joy on the inside was unshakable. In your daily devotion, rejoice that your praise is unshakable, constant, and continuous.
Boast in the Lord
David’s boast is not in his conquests, but in the Lord. God is his rock, salvation, and deliverer. He delivered him from Goliath, wild beasts, armies, and Saul. David came out victoriously because God brought him out. In today’s devotional, boast in the Lord. He is your deliverer.
Humble Shall Hear
The humble ones are those whose hearts are open to God. When they hear the word, they trust in His great name. David committed to telling others of God’s goodness. In Psalm 71:15, David proclaims, “My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day.” In your daily devotion, commit, as David did, to praising God’s works before others.
Final Word
In today’s daily devotion, lift your voice in praise to God, who is your deliverer. Throughout David’s many distresses, battles, and uncertainties, God delivered him. Shaolin monks meditate to maintain a state of perpetual peace. They remain peaceful even in conflict. In Psalm 34, David advocates perpetual praise.
You must praise God at all times or have continual praise. Boast in the Lord, not in your achievements, because He alone is worthy of praise. David’s example shows that when you fill your heart with praise, God’s goodness is poured out. In today’s daily devotion, praise God that His goodness is displayed when you praise.
