5 New Singles to Check To Out This Weekend of October 10th
The new single round-up for the weekend of October 10th is in. This week’s songs are to help keep the party going. Whether you need a song to set the mood while getting ready or a song for after the party, before making a decision you will regret once you sober up, this week we have you covered. The artists featured this week include Demi Lovato, Jisoo, ZAYN, Big Boogie, Queen Naija, Alemeda, and Dochii.
Demi Lovato – “Kiss”

The perfect song to start your Saturday night off with is Demi Lovato’s new single, “Kiss.” It’s an upbeat pop dance song that is a contender for a summer 2026 party song. The playful lyrics and fun beat will have everyone voguing in the clubs or make a great transition song for makeup on TikTok.
“Kiss” is the third song released from the “Cool for the Summer” singer’s upcoming album, It’s Not That Deep, which will be released later this month on October 24th. Along with the new single, Demi Lovato also released a music video for “Kiss”.
Jisoo “Eyes Closed featuring ZAYN”

If you are looking for a sign to send that risky text, listen to JISOO and ZAYN’s “Eyes Closed“. The K-Pop singer and British singer’s voices blend in a dreamy R&B and pop ballad duet that showcases what can happen when two worlds collide.
Early this week, Jisoo teased visuals on Instagram, a video for “Eyes Closed,“ and the internet went into a frenzy. According to Kbizoom, the song became,
“The most anticipated global release,“ with over 60,000 pre-saves recorded on China’s QQ Music. The teaser hashtag trended No.1 worldwide on X (formerly Twitter). Zayn Malik’s official announcement tweet surpassed 26 million views within a day.
“Eyes Closed” is the wild card song of the week. If you have never heard a BLACKPINK or JISOO song, this new single will have you going down an artist rabbit hole, adding new songs to a playlist.

Alemeda- “Beat A B!tch Up featuring Dochii”

Continuing the trend of toxic love, next on the list is Almeda featuring Dochii, “Beat A B!tch Up.“ The single, on the surface, sounds like a fun alternative rock and rap song. Still, once you listen to the lyrics, it’s about beating up the side chick to their lover (obviously from the title).
The ladies sing, “Cause I thought that you were serious (Serious)Yeah, I thought that you was telling the truth (Telling the truth)Oh, I must be delirious ‘Cause I rеally would fight bitches for you”
Alemda is an emerging Sudanese-Ethiopian singer-songwriter. The “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows“ went viral in 2021, leading to her signing with Top Dawg Entertainment. The record label is home to stars like SZA, Dochii, and Kendrick Lamar. Perhaps her upcoming EP, But What the Hell Do I Know, will be her next album and feature another labelmate.
Big Boogie- “Toot It Up”
What a good weekend playlist without something to twerk to? Big Boogie’s “Toot It Up“ will have you turned up wherever you play it, whether for pre-gaming, on the way to the party, or on the dance floor. As soon as the song starts, you can feel the energy of Big Boogie and instantly start dancing.
“Toot It Up“ features a sample from Trap Starz Clik’s 2007 throwback dance song, “Get it Big“. Setting the mood for what listeners can expect from his next project, this is the first single from Big Boogie’s next album, Pain on Paper 4.
Queen Naija- “put it on( eat)”
The last song this week for our new single is Queen Naija’s “put it on(eat)“. One more song to help you dance away the weekend before the work week starts. “put it on(eat)“ is a sexy club song to dance to, to seduce the person from across the bar, or a dedication to a friend to remind them you are that girl.
The new single from Queen Naija is different from her usual soul music sound. It is a fusion of dance, R&B, and she even raps a few bars in the song. Like many artists, the “Karma” singer is evolving her sound to reflect where she is in life at the age of 30, and this shift will be evident in her next EP, 30.
