Louis Tomlinson’s Early Success Was Inevitable

Following One Direction’s hiatus in 2016, Tomlinson launched a solo career with the release of “Just Hold On”, featuring Steve Aoki, in December 2016. The song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, and was certified platinum in 2016.
Tomlinson also released subsequent singles including “Back to You” with Bebe Rexha, “Miss You”, and “Two of Us”, a tribute to his late mother. His debut solo studio album, Walls was released in January 2020. It debuted at No. 4 in the UK, and No. 9 on the US Billboard 200. His second album, Faith in the Future was released in November 2022, and reached No. 1 in the UK.
