Daily Devotional Wednesday Wisdom with Total Apex Media | November 5, 2025

It’s Wednesday, and time for daily devotion. God is good! When you abide in His word, you receive His promises. In Psalm 23, David has no wants. Your wants are different from your needs. God said He’d supply your needs, so you don’t have to pray to receive them. However, your wants are desires from a faith-filled heart. 1 John 3:22 reveals God’s desire to bless you:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

In your daily devotion, rejoice that you have a God who answers your prayers.

Whatever You Ask

There’s a wrong and right way to ask. James 4:3 says, “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” Praying with false motives won’t bring answers. Jesus said in Matthew 21:21-22 that when you have faith, “whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” To receive, you must ask in faith. Asking in faith cancels doubt, unbelief, and wrong motives.

If someone is only nice to you because they want something, you wouldn’t be inspired to give. Sons of God walk in truth and ask God in faith. In today’s daily devotion, praise God that as a son of God, your Father desires you to ask.

Receive From Him

In Philippians 4:6, Paul says, “In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” God has given you an open invitation to enter into His presence and ask for the things on your heart. When we go to God and pray in faith, we trust that our desires will be met.

He may not give you a time frame, but when you pray, you put it in His hands. Then you trust and wait patiently. You don’t wait by reminding Him every day. Mark 11:24 confirms that faith is believing you receive it before you have it. How do you do that? You walk by faith, not by sight. Faith says if it’s in God’s will, it’s mine. Rejoice and stand on the word until it comes.

In today’s daily devotion, exercise your faith by believing you have what God’s word says is yours.

Keep His Commandments

Psalm 119 expresses the psalmist’s love for the word of God. In verse 16, he declares, “I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.” Celebrate God’s word and the good things He has for you. It teaches you how to receive by abiding in His word. Praise God in your daily devotion that blessings abound when you keep His commandments.

Pleasing To Him

Hebrews 11:6 declares that without faith, you cannot please God. Walking by faith is pleasing to Him; therefore, you must resist anything that interferes with your trust in God. If it means not hanging around places or people that weaken your faith, that’s what you must do. Be with those who strengthen your faith.

In this daily devotion, make a declaration that you will walk pleasing to God, even if it means distancing yourself from negative voices.

Final Word

Today, your daily devotion continues to express John’s heart for believers. He wants them to walk in faith and see their prayers answered. God has given you an open door to ask what you will when you walk in faith. Ask and receive when you keep His commandments and walk pleasingly before Him.  In today’s daily devotion, be delighted that your Heavenly Father delights to answer your prayer.
