By the finale, she had dropped to 105 pounds—a dramatic transformation that meant she shed over half her body weight. Her weight loss totaled 155 pounds, bringing her BMI down to about 18. This made her the only winner in the show’s history to finish the competition medically underweight, as noted by Glamour.

About a year after her season finale win, Rachel Frederickson wrote a personal article for Today and explained how her, “self-esteem once again was affected by other people’s voices — this time, the kind that live forever in Facebook posts or written in the pages of magazines. People tried to bring me down and (privately) succeeded.”

Shortly after that, she disappeared from the limelight, made her social media private, and started living low-key.
